About the LGBT thing, in the MV for Navillera (their summer comeback in 2016), there is a subtle storyline where Yerin is falling in love with Eunha, it is very subtle so you might not noticed if you don't really pay attention to the MV, but Eunha confirmed it in an interview.
Since my bias is Yerin, I always pay attention to whom she's affectionate with, so I saw it right away, and even posted a list of like 8 moments in the video when those two are together... :)
I really dug this repackaged album especially this particular song. It was such a bop. It reminded me a bit of a really great 70s song. Great review as always.
They have different composers for the other tracks of the album, but it's the same for their title tracks (Iggy Yongbae it's his name i think), not complaining tho, for me all their title tracks were on point! Honestly I think Sowon’s line in beginning really tells a lot about the song itself, and I think it can really connect to the song possibly being an lgbt song as you mentioned. When she says, “Go back to the frightened child.” I think there’s a possibility of that message being about how a lot of young kids struggle with identity, especially kids that are part of the lgbt community. Young kids do get frightened by identity issues and get worried that they won’t be accepted because of their sexuality, which I think also goes back to Eunha and Yerin’s lines when Eunha says, “Nothing is impossible ” and when Yerin says, “painted over pain.” I think that Eunha’s line is representing that lgbt people can do it even if they’re struggling with their identity/sexuality and that they will get through the hardships as another line in the song mentions, and I think what Yerin is trying to say is that these people who try to hide their sexuality are painting over their pain like her line “painted over pain” which is basically representing that people who hide their identity are in pain but they try to hide it just like they try to hide their identity because they fear they won’t be accepted if they come out as gay or any other part of the lgbt community. This might be a long shot to try and connect these dots, but it’s also a possibility that this song is representing lgbt.
