- I wanted to do a part 2 just to put in some things I left out but there is just so much CloTi moments that you can't fit in a video. I hope this somehow show you guys what I see in their relationship. 🥰

CloTi is definitely the more genuine of the two shipping wars, Cloud does have his sweet moments with Aerith and I do ship both. But from a story telling perspective, CloTi makes the most canonical sense. Tifa represents Clouds past and his true self, everything with the two is solely based on their childhood and their bond from that. The original game even makes it very clear that Cloud rebuilding his memory and returning to his old self, is the best choice for him. So for Tifa to be a pinnacle part of that role shows there's clearly more romantic themes involved.
Aeriths more of a representation of Clouds adopted identity from Zack, it'd be no shocker that Aerith would take a liking to Cloud as he reminds her of Zack. This isn't to say any feelings between the two are ingenuous but it's clearly from a more coping mechanism rather than actual love. Aeriths thing is a crush, a harmless crush at that. But Tifa's is something that's been around since the beginning and it's more than a crush.

As IB has nicely capped off this vid, it’s quite evident that even Aerith ships Clo-Ti. She might not b yellin at us from top of roof but Aer’s not makin it difficult fer us to read either. Kickin Cloud’s butt to make sure he follows after Tifa (whom Aer already knows is “some1 importan” to him) in the carriage driving to Corneo’s. Even the multiple times Aer flirts with him right in front of Tifa, likely tryin to nudge Tifa along, get her to properly face up to her feelings toward Cloud & act on it.
By now, we also get the benefit of more displays with Rebirth. Gongaga - Aerith’s smiling silenced words to Tifa (with Cloud behind in Tifa’s room) s she came to the doorstep, after havin jus returnd to consciousness with Cloud at bedside. Also, Yuffie & Cait jus eavesdroppd & practically whole team knew that Clo-Ti were about to lock lips. Don’t think there’s another realistic way to interpret wat Aerith was thinkin.

Well i'm watching all these backwards, but I'm playing kechup
I think they make more sense than Cloud - Aerith but the devs prefer A and pushed them, through Cait Siths fortune telling, Clouds mom, KH, books etc. While she does help C open up a bit in the end they seem like theyd be more good friends than lovers. They didnt really feel like they had chemistry. They feel forced. Like we just have to rely on words that theyll work out best in the end. C/T just feels more natural. They way they are around each other. A is the fun friend while T is the wife you want to come home too. It feels like a deeper love. Thats just my take though and I know Cleriths will go wild on me and say theres "proof" of them loving each other which I already addressed. Yes Cloud loved Aeris but imo not to the degree he loved Tifa. And also my opinion they dont seem like they would work out in the long run. C would be happy with either but matches Tifa better imho.

Yeah according to recent news, Cloud and Tifa end up happily married! Or maybe it was just a dream I had 😆
