If you are thinking PSYCHOLOGY as a future careers: I recommend that you NEED to keep in mind that you're going to touch/talk about a lot of sensitive topics (A LOT), and if you have the idea of "helping/guide others" you also have to know that the first person you need to heal and help is YOURSELF.
Totally true. In Indonesia, the students of Psychology Department called as "patient" cause we would do self-healing too by learning more about human behavior and minds. It's a joke but I think that's true, we would be a "patient" too by applying to Psychology Department hahaha..
In Germany you also have to be willing to go through a lot of theorethical stuff. I would always recommend to inform yourself about which university you're studying your subject bc the different universities (at least here in Germany) can each decide where they put their main focus on... Especially in psychology, there are lots of different fields and proffesions
i’m a psych major and even if i decide not to pursue it as a career in the future im glad i decided to take it in uni cause i’m learning A LOT about myself.
did not expect keshi to have a cute personality lmao I thought he'd be introverted and intimidating for some reason. also! they had really good chemistry. hope to see him again!!

This was a great podcast to hear. Keshi was so well spoken and made me feel a lot better about college and not to be as stressed. Thank you guys for this!!
8:34 I’m actually a gap year student and have a couple things to say to you all that may be considering taking one:) 1.) People who took a gap year and ended up not attending college did not make that decision solely based on their gap year. A gap year is truly to decide what YOU want for yourself and your future. If college is not for you, then that’s alright. 2.) Taking one helped my mental health IMMENSELY. Taking that huge leap from high school to college right after graduation was not ideal for my mental health, and realizing that was a life saver. 3.) It REALLY prepares you for college. My gap year allowed me to uncover my true life/career goals and aspirations. 4.) I did terribly my last two years of high school; however, I made it onto the Dean’s List for my first semester in college. I associate my success to my gap year because it excited me about learning again. I was never “bad” at school; I simply needed a break!! A gap year is NOT detrimental to your education as everybody makes it out to be. Whether you choose to go to college or not is up to YOU, not a gap year. You control your future through your decisions, and if taking a gap year sounds best for you then have courage and take one💗
i remember i once asked jae on his twitch when keshi would be a guest in hdigh but sadly jae didn't answer that. well, I'm so happy keshi has finally appeared! broo, keshi is soooo handsome and friendly and humble and cool
I had so many thoughts & comments while listening to this episode. Mad respect for Keshi working on his music, flying to NYC while working full time as an onc nurse! I laughed when he said he picked nursing so he could coast thru his day job and focus on his music. Bahahaha nursing will own your soul and suck you dry until you have nothing left to give! ☠️ I’m happy for him that he was able to quit nursing and pursue music full time. Some of us aren’t so lucky 😒 Keep up the good work AleXa & Jae and the rest of the Dive Studios team! 💛
Keshi is REALLY GOOD in communication. He allows others to talk, acknowledging others, do not let the conversation astray too long, answer questions precisely with good elaboration and justification and he is just lovely. Oh yeah, Keshi, wishing you have your dream of having 3 daughters granted. 🙏🏻✨ Jae has 10 million to spend. 🙏🏻✨ Alexa, hope your body is fine & no more asthma exacerbation ever. 🙏🏻✨
Please guest Keshi again. A podcast with Keshi helps expand my English vocabulary. More please! There's only a few people nowadays who speaks eloquently like him.
When keshi said ‘they’re afraid to let us reach too high’ I felt that 😯 coming from a south Asian household, I’ve felt like I’ve been subconsciously raised to believe to go for the more realistic career path rather than a more creative, risky one. This obviously doesn’t go for every Asian household but that’s what my experience has been. Now that I’m in university I feel like I’ve realized that no matter what career path you take, they’re always gonna be hurdles and risks, but if you really want to take a career path you want to embark on and work hard for it, you’ll see results. So yeah. :)
I enjoyed listening to this and yes, the universe loves Keshi. Going from Nursing to music is quite a career change! It shows that life is unpredictable and no one knows what their career(s) will be. Personally, I went from Biology to Nursing to English to Customer Service to Teaching to Writer and now to Pharmacy. I also want to add that those personality and career tests are full of s**t. My MBTI switched 4 times (ISFP, INFJ, INFP, ENTP) and those career tests couldn’t give me a definite answer on what I should do as a job. I think just experiencing life is what life is all about.

Gosh. Keshi is so wise. He is so correct in how it's the "asian parents" that created the opportunity for many people to be able to have choices in their careers and shoot for the stars, but they're also the ones afraid of it.
I cannot imagine how stressful it must have been to do nursing and another "passion" together... Because honestly, being a nurse can kill you AHAHAHAHA You will be physically and mentally tired everyday. So I have a huge respect for keshi, because he didnt give up on music even when he was working as a nurse.
The time has passed when Keshi was our small little secret, that we wanted to keep for ourselves guys. I'm truely happy tho that Jae and Keshi are friends. They radiate such positive energy together
I love what Keshi says at 9:27 . It’s so important to realize that your parents were able to give you an opportunity to pursue your passion. I’m not sure, but I often feel like artistic industries have a lot of people who have the privilege of coming from families who weren’t dependent on you for financial support. It’s a lot easier to pursue your dreams when you only have yourself to look after instead of other people depending on you.
Absolutely crazy how much I listen to Keshi to the point where he was one of my most listened to artists of 2020.... and yet this is the first time i’m hearing him converse with others.... he’s so friendly and outgoing what a king
ngl, i went to college, i'm a PTA... i'm not bold enough to just quit and chase my music career. as much as i REALLY want my music career to take off, i just can't imagine the confidence to do that. mad respect, Keshi. i really resonated with everything he said regarding career and after work working on music. wow.

what keshi said about jae was true!!!! jae genuinely care for every musicians out there and he's been always supportive ever since.
I've seen a video of Keshi talk in Caitlin's vlog? But this one he's talked a lot, pretty nice to hear his thoughts over things like this
