Did you get chance to visit the old church just above the large lake? I did laugh at one point when it looked like you were walking on water over the weir! Enjoyed that very much, thank you.
I like how you let the camera tell the story and not so much explanation; the latter I think you do just right, maybe a little less music (good choice of Melancholia, however). I've been catching up on all of your other walks and thank you for doing these!

Not far from me. The Abbey is impressive as are the gardens. Another go to see and walk the area is Rosedale Abbey and on to the North Yorkshire Moors
