Tesla did great when they were the only EV maker. Now they're not. Talk about Robotaxi? Waymo beat them to the punch. Humaoid robots? Also late to the party. Tesla would have to do something drastic and really impressive to start to gain ground now. Why “no other company is doing that tesla is doing”? Waymo already has robo taxi running. BYD is doing good at manufacturing electric cars. Tesla creates ripples but doesn’t deliver. Just look at 4680 cell: so many delays while chinese companies caught up and now more advanced that tesla.

EV, robo taxi is going to be very competitive, it is not easy to make big profits in those area, and not to mention Tesla PE is high now. so the price is expensive, I predict it will go down further without blindly following the Elon Musk.
Not only is the taxi business competitive, it's a relatively small market. Most people don't use taxis. Somehow Elon manage to convince investors that robotaxi is going to be big business. lol They are going to be shock when it makes very little money as the expense to run a fleet of robotaxi is expensive while customers will go to competitors with lower prices.

The fact is that the Chinese EV industry is destroying TSLA on a daily basis. The Chinese EVs are getting safer, much cheaper to buy, and more economical to maintain. Second, they have a great EV infrastructure in place for their vehicles. Third, they don't have supply issues like TSLA.
Chinese EVs are a scam, poor quality and dangerous.
They probably can do it in the PRC. Robotaxis already operate there.

Anyone who has driven Tesla FSD knows this is the case. You cannot ' solve ' FSD using just cameras. When it works, it works, but nowhere near enough not to have a driver in the seat...and no insurance company is going to cover your Robotaxi driving around the streets alone picking up strangers.

Waymo is already working and losing $813 million. Robo Taxi is just public transportation and that's a known and finite market. No money is on the table to pick up it's all loss and unlimited liability.
And most of the country doesn't want public transportation. You think a mom wants to hail a tesla to take her kid to soccer? Or someone in a small town wants to to go to Walmart?

Baidu's autonomous robotaxi are running in several cities especially in Wuhan. Based on preliminary estimates, Baidu will make money in Wuhan at the end of 2024.
Tesla did great when they were the only EV maker. Now they're not. Talk about Robotaxi? Waymo beat them to the punch. Humaoid robots? Also late to the party. Tesla would have to do something drastic and really impressive to start to gain ground now. They should focus on large power bank energy storage and clean energy production as the large AI data centers are going to need massive amounts of power.

The problem for Tesla is that the market for EVs is challenging right now as there is more competition for sales. The 25k models might not be successful. FSD might not happen for years to come. The company has a LOT of hurdles to overcome to be successful long-term.
