Same I grew up with home phones also and cellphones were not the same as they are now the only cell phone's that there was, was a car phone or them big bag phones that were a pain to have cause they was a little to big at that time then a little later down the road they got smaller more business looking but to talk on some of them u flipped down a flap at the bottom of the phone to answer and talk to somone an u kinda had to be a well off person to afford a cell at that time like not rich but at that point in time people wasn't wasting there money on stuff like that because of how expensive stuff was and u didnt really need one kinda like colored tv's or tv's in general back in the day even further lol not everyone wasted their money on one and they was kinda pricey so only the upper middle to upper class people bought them kinda like cellphones in my time in a way, man takes me back thinkin about it and the struggle of calling a chick u like and having to ask her mom or dad if shes home and if u can talk to her then u had to watch what u said cause if they had more than one home phone u knew her dad or mom was creeping on ya and listening in on the other phone lol kids nowadays have it easy with cellphones and all the technology hell when I was a kid computer's were still a new technology and in the development stage persay and not everyone had one of those either and having a computer was on the border line of having the money to buy one like the phone's not everyone had one and they didnt have laptops u have now or tablets they was all desktop then about few years maybe 5 a lobtop was the new hot thing lol man times have changed, it doesn't seem too long ago when I think about it but it kinda has been I am in my 30s now
