“Xutos Medley” by Barroselas's Old Wind Band/ Banda Musical Velha de Barroselas

A powerful wind band from my home town, Viana do Castelo, performing during the biggest celebration that we have in the country during summertime: “Senhora da Agonia” celebrated every year in August in Viana do Castelo, near the sea, in the North of Portugal; Known as “ Barroselas's old Wind Band (Banda Musical Velha de Barroselas) members are young professional and amateur musicians musically educated within their Wind Band school and in Viana do Castelo Music school. Jorge Pires, a Barroselas’s son is the conductor of near 50 young musicians playing to make their Wind Band, village and Viana do Castelo very proud of their work! It was a powerful performance playing “Xutos Medley” in a Luis Cardoso arrangement
