As someone who experienced violence in the home, DDP went too far in making fun of trauma to a kid. It's scars a human to the core of their DNA.

Dricus had to be seen in context though. Sean was dishing out about one clown guy whose dad molested him, he was dishing out how Dricus has sex with his male coach and all that. He was essentially saying whatever he wanted, so Dricus who is clearly not an intellectual and clearly thinks in Afrikaans and not English had to think about a comeback. Now when a guy is “grootbek” and insulting everyone else and going on about how they have sex with their dad and other men, then that guy is open to be taken down by any means. Dricus isn’t well spoken in English so he said the first thing that came to his mind in English and I believe it was fair play in the moment.
I had a buddy who in Grade 5 was taken away from his parents because he stood up to his dad for his mom, his dad beat him up so bad that he was placed in a children’s home. That guy would NEVER insult other people, and if he went around saying what he wanted it would be fair to hit him where it hurts as well, even though he’s a close friend of mine I’d say in THAT case it’ll be fair play.

I watched this interview. And cried. And every time I watch one of these shorts. I cry. Childhood trauma doesn’t leave. At some point we start crying for the little boy (that is us) who never had the opportunity to be a child. Who always had to be an adult. I don’t watch MMA, but this interview was great. Just a man allowing another man to be honest and feel his feelings, for Theo to just say, “I can sit here with you”. Sometimes that is the most powerful thing, someone who just acknowledges the pain you feel for the child who was you. The child that had to endure things, that no child should have to.

This dude is an mma fighter and a killing machine, in a voliatile state of emotional trauma ready to blow up, and he sat there and as a person sat there and said "hey man we don't have to talk we can just sit here man" that is the most human thing i've ever seen, he saw him as a person, everyone should strive to be like that

DDP is a total scumbag for throwing this pain at Strickland. I truly hope Strickland destroys DDPs career, just retires him.

Mate if you watch it, ddp wasnt gonna say anything until he saw that what suga said touched a nerve. I love strickland, but the amount he crosses the line, talking about peoples wives and kids. He literally took the piss out of khlalil roundtree for crying on a podcast when he was speaking about him wanting to commit suicide. Now hes mad people are ‘crossing the line’ talking about him. You cant dish out all this stuff then not be able to take it. I feel seans pain i really do, but dont think theres a line people cant cross when hes crossed the line many times. Makes him a hypocrite

But Seans not a scumbag when he, insults a dead person the week they died after they got hit by a bus, calls khalil rountree a “beta male” for crying about his past in a presser, says more kids need a “drunken beating” in this generation, doubled down and insulted the dead person against saying they wouldn’t matter if they weren’t good looking.
