- Its been 5 years since my boss and good friend ,
sadly passed away on May 19th, 2006,
Freddie Garrity passed away in Wales whilst on holiday.
He was 69 and will be sadly missed by thousands of people
the world over.
To me, he was a friend and a teacher.
He taught me how to have fun with music and
how to entertain people. He was a master of this.
During the six years that I performed as a Dreamer with Freddie,
I took hundreds of hours worth of home video film.
We travelled the world from Europe to the Caribbean,
Australia and America.
In 2004, I compiled all this film into an interesting
one hour and ten minute video
featuring the best parts of my travels with Freddie.
The film includes many of my favourite tracks which Freddie
recorded way back in the Sixties with the original Dreamers.
This film is an intriguing insight into the working band
that was to be Freddie's last set of Dreamers.

This song 🎵 and performance is so amazing. The way they 💃 danced in those days to the way people dance 🕺 nowadays, what a contrast. Freddy sure 👍 had a good group and he certainly was part of the British Invasion. The long dresses 👗 that girls 👧 wore in those days. Looks like the 👧 👦 kids put on their best clothes knowing that they were going to appear on television 📺. That certainly was good music 🎼 and with a dance 🪩 routine looks a bit wholesome.
Very catchy.
This clip is from the film "What a Crazy World" which starred Joe Brown and Marty Wilde.
This film is getting a regular showing on Talking Pictures - sky channel 343 or freeview 81. Next showing is ten past midnight on Friday 21 April 2017.
One of my very favourite films. I sat in the cinema to watch it twice over, such nostalgia seeing these clips now.
Absolutely love this song, one of the most catchiest songs of all time. Freddie and The Dreamers never got the recognition they deserved. Check out a cover version by them of The Beatles, Run For Your Life from the Revolver album, actually even better than The Beatles singing it.
Brilliant song.
That’s sad that Freddy & The Dreamers never got the recognition they’d deserve especially a band that was part of the British Invasion. What was unique about Freddy and the Dreamers was that Freddy used dance 💃 moves while he was singing 🎶.😊
And this is how it all started, that devils music, that damn rock-n-roll.
You can clearly tell that those utes dancing are possessed by Saten.
And those so-called musicians creating that racket are probably all high on refer.
Being English loved Freddie
Super group.
Dreamers?
Who's this beauty at 1:31 ?
No idea
Apologies, the comment below should have said - Rubber Soul by The Beatles, not Revolver. Wrote before my coffee break at work and brain not fully charged.
no prob - but you probably got a ton of folks looking at the song titles on their copy of Revolver (including me -lol,,,)
What movie is this from???
"What a Crazy World" - Talking Pictures - sky channel 343 or freeview 81. Next showing is ten past midnight on Friday 21 April 2017.
I wish they'd get rid of the fake teenagers. I want to see the band.
LOL!
Weird Al yankovic and Tiny Tim put together....😂😂😂😂
