  • Three days of operating streamliners at the North Carolina Transportation Museum May 30th through June 1st at the Streamliners at Spencer event. Streamliners pull both passenger and freight trains. See EMD F7's, F3's, FL9's, E8's, E5's, E9's and ALCO FA1 locomotives in action. See locomotives in Southern, Union Pacific, Canadian National, Chicago & Northwestern, Pennsylvania, Lackawanna, Burlington Route, Baltimore & Ohio and Chesapeake & Ohio paint schemes!

      And a great starting point for those who want to model a transition era freight. (Late 1940's -Early 1960's).

    Did anyone notice the steam engine sound effects when the diesels were in the picture? Or did I imagine it? Whoever edited this video sure isn't well educatd in trains.

      It's a Handcock 4700 whistle it was pretty common in North East England area in late 80's early 90s
