My cat is pretty slim, she's a good and healthy size. Her fur makes up a lot of her size, she isn't fluffy but she has really thick fur. In some photos or from some angles, she looks fucking huge--but nah, she's actually a pretty athletic cat. She just has a lot of skin lmfao
Also, maybe some cats get big just because people have to experiment with how much they feed their cats. thats what happens sometimes I think. Just overfed a bit much and the owner is still figuring out the cat's diet?
There is no excuse for having a heavily obese cat though (Edit: unless they have genuine health problems that stop them from losing weight). If they get into food and feed themselves, move the food. If your kid or friend is always feeding them, educate that person. I hate people who make their cats massive so that they look cute

This cat actually has health problems that make her fat, she lives a fairly normal life otherwise, and her diet is normal. I've seen the original video and the owner talks about it. There's no way to reduce her weight in a healthy way as far as I know.

My cat is a ragdoll and is naturally very fluffy and large
@@sonomabeast yeah my cat isn't a big or very fluffy cat but she has thick enough fur and a lot of loose skin so she sometimes looks like a monster of a cat haha

For everyone worried about the cat at 2:41 that's Poobear! She has a tiktok account and her owner has explained that poo wasn't overfed, and is only overweight due to a thyroid disorder. That video is pretty old now and she has lost 10+ pounds since the recording of that video and is still working on losing weight :)

At my summer camp last year a raccoon got into our camp site and our consular chased it out with a broom. She was really cool. Also there was a raccoon bucket where you put stuff in to protect it from raccoons, but I thought it was for when you caught the raccoon you put it in the bucket. So I was really confused

Cats just grow, they just do. I feed them normal amounts (1 1/2 scoops or 1 scoop depending on what’s leftover in the bowl from last time) and they continue to get fat. They g r o w
