beyonce herself directed the whole BLACK IS KING movie where the MOOD 4 EVA music video comes from. she chose the outfit herself. she directs every video and angle of the film, she produces the whole film.
The song at the beginning of the video is the original version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" It was written by a South African artist and sung in Zulu. It was popular in Europe in the 1930's. It was eventually bought by an American producer for practically nothing. He then changed it slightly, it became a big here still today and the original artist never got another dime or recognition. Beyonce used his version to honor the original artist Solomon Linda.
