    How would you compare this to benz E class in terms of build quality, and which one has smoother and more quiet ride? Amazing videos man, thanks a lot :) p.s. was this luxury/executive trim?

    Ten model jest wysoko na mojej liście zakupowej. Z tego co widzę, to wersja BE - czy doskwiera Ci w niej brak wentylowanych siedzeń? To w zasadzie jedyna rzecz, której brak mnie skłania do zainwestowania więcej pieniędzy w wersję Prestige.

      W BE nie ma regulowanej długości siedziska co może wpływ na komfort w długich trasach - ale to oczywiście kwestia indywidualna, trzeba się przymierzyć. Bardziej znacząca jest różnica w technologii świateł. Wersja BE ma zwykłe lampy a Prestige i Omotenashi AVS wycinające pojazdy.

    Hands down, the best mpg a car of it’s class has. Not to far off the camry, but different league in terms of luxury. Too bad lexus switched to FWD.

      You are right, definitely the best (lowest) in class consumption in a city. Camry had (HAD) even worse fuel consumption, because Lexus ES has improved drivetrain. I expect, Camry 2024 will have the same features and could be even better with economy :)

      @@1001cars , so Lexus es facelift ( after 2021) is better then non facelift model and camry?

      That is correct. They changed the battery and software (maybe sth. more).

      ES always was FWD. They have plenty of other RWD models.

    3.8l/100km? How is this even possible? :O Does this car have 5th Toyota hybrid generation?

    Could the cause for the difference to the Camry be the better rolling resistance of these tires?

    • @1001cars
      @1001cars  4 місяці тому +1

      Definitely Camry would have been lower consumption with better tyres

      @@1001cars You are indeed right about the car having a revised hybrid drivetrain, as you name it. I honestly didn't believe it, but you are right 😄. It does have better fuel economy than the previous model years. I almost sold my Camry to buy a 2021 or so ES300h. The 2024 Camry (2018-2024 model) as it seems, although unconfirmed, possibly hasn't received the revised drivetrain. But the all new Camry's advertised fuel economy presumably points to the use of a newer gen hybrid drivetrain, which I think is advertised as the "5th gen" hybrid drivetrain. Interesting stuff. Difficult to find hard facts though. Edit: The ES300h with the revised powertrain for 2024 still has 218 hp, whereas the all new 2024 Camry with the 5th gen powertrain has 231 hp, so the version used in the Lexus seems to be something like a version 4.5 or something like that. The main thing I wonder about is: Might there be a possibility to update the 4th gen powertrain's software to the revised version, which is used in the Lexus.
