Henry: And we do Barry together! Bill: And we do Barry together! Henry gives Bill a smooch Bill: I love you buddy Henry: I love you! Bill: Oh man, I love you man *me: cries in the distance for the rest of recorded time*
martymcdie88 can you imagine a young Bill Hader watching Happy Days and Future Bill Hader shows up and says one day kid your going to create a show that will win Henry his first Emmy.
The way that Henry looked at Bill as he walked away says it all. It's almost like the relationship between his character Gene and Barry in the show. They genuinely care for each other. Also Henry has to be the most lovable person who ever lived.
Okay, that was incredibly sweet, especially right at the end. How kind to be so affirming of Henry Winkler in that personal way. Thanks for the warm moment.
zombiezqueen yeah the interviewer was great, he allowed Henry to shine. Even though the environment is rushed they made time for a genuine moment in the end :)
Mr. Winkler deserves this award because he doesnt view this statue as an idol. It is just an award for all of his hard work. Very mature of you Mr. Winkler (And congratulations).
Henry is one of the most likeably, affable and genuine actors in Hollywood, which is known for insincere people. Entertainment is brimming with disingenuous people, while Henry Winkler sets an excellent example of humanity.
I met Henry once and I will tell you that the way you see him here is exactly the way he really is. Just the nicest, most genuine guy you ever want to meet. And about 4 and a half feet tall. Okay, that was a joke, but he is much shorter than I thought he would be (And Bill Hader is quite tall, which makes this even funnier on the show).
Lol Henry is so adorable in a "loving grandpa" sort of way. When he was using his phone at 2:58 you can hear him pressing numbers lol. He didn't even know what was going on with the phone anymore lol 😊😃
It is such a rare delight to see such kind, warm and grateful interviewees and an interviewer. Lots of love in this whole video - so wonderfully heartwarming
He’s such a beautiful person. My son and I were lucky enough to meet him and as a father seeing & hearing the way he treated my son that day he touched my heart.
this was just about the sweetest interview I've seen yet. was a bit unsure about how long the video is but I'm so glad I stayed for the entire thing. Henry and Bill are so so sweet
Yay! If anybody watched "Barry" one great scene for Henry: Barry is quite upset after killing his friend Chris. Barry's in a back room after acting in the final play. Henry comes in, praises Barry on his performance. Barry is in the throes of emotions throwing chairs, etc. Henry finally realizes how serious this is & tries to get out of the room before he gets hit with a chair or something. Look at Henry Winkler's reaction & the bobbing of his head as he's exiting the room. F'in HYSTERICAL! Well deserved award Sir. Well deserved.
@@bobbykirshtein8765 Yessss. That was great acting on Bill Hader's part. This show turned out to be (to me, anyway) the breakout show of the last 5 years. Loved EVERY minute of it. Anthony Carrigan (bald dude) blows me away with anything that comes out of his mouth. Cannot wait for next season. So so glad it was recognized for its excellence.
@@benconnor3206 He really is soooooo talented. He writes, directs, produces & stars on Barry. Actually started crushing on Bill during 1st season. Been watching him for years of course on SNL. Then he left to pursue movies, now this! He's just the bomb diggity in my book. LOL
Henry Winkler is truly nice , I ran into him on paramount lot, I was an extra , just walking to another building & we passed each other , he said hi & gave me a lovely smile , I didn’t realize it was him until about 5 min later , & then was so happy I ran into him again a few hours later again & I said excitedly “ hi, I didn’t realize it was you , , & he smiled & said “ oh you’re so sweet , I’m just Henry , “ he was so sincere & kind
I’m sure the Barry cast & crew love their job. Respect & kindness come from the top. If you have the humblest, nicest people running the show (Bill Hader & Alec Berg), you get the best & most creative results because everyone just gives their best & beyond.
Such a sweet, genuine, kind human being. I feel bad for his poor wife - hope that break heals quickly. Listen to him - it's all about his co-workers, and his kids, and growing as an actor and person, over the years. Congrats Mr. Winkler - well deserved.
Winkler has been an unexpected highlight of so many shows. I'm so glad he got a second wind this past 20 years. From AD, to Childrens Hospital, to this - hes always a delight.
The Fonz. Man, I'm so happy right now. I'm so glad. And he seems like the overly-proud aunt who shows you off at everyone whenever she can, Bill being the shy/nervous nephew. But it's cute. I love this. I love this so much. My heart is warmed, my skin is hydrated, my debts are paid. This is so cute.
The movie Max Winkler was directing is called Jungleland. It's quite good, with sort of a 70s road movie feel to it. The female lead is Jessica Barden (The End of the F***ing World), who is now married to Max and the father of his kid. Last night, she put Henry on her IG stories to remind everybody that Season Three of Barry started that night. I saw this right after watching Gene Cousineau beg for his life. Funny how things come back around. Anyway, I'm glad the show is back.
something about this guy, so sweet and genuine (pretty funny too).just has this glow they everyone kinda needs in there life. it makes me happy to see him so proud of his award.
I just watched this series over the last couple of weeks. Such a strong show. The way it deconstructs morality conflicts makes you care for people who would really be considered unredeemable. All of the key players wanted to get out of the mess their lives had become, but the reality they were a part of and the weaknesses in their own judgements just kept pulling them right back in. I've never felt so sorry for a hitman/serial killer/mass murderer before. They call this a comedy though. I suppose that is meant in the fashion of the Shakespearian comedies. There is really nothing comedic about it. Its funny that way.
everything about that was lovely, the interviewer was awesome Mr Winkler and Henry all well deserving a great moment for the cameras. Nice to see genuine happy times.
I had the pleasure of talking with Henry winkler at a play years ago. He sat behind me and he commented on my jacket i was wearing. We spoke for awhile and he was truly a nice guy all around. I have read many stories about how great a person he is. Well he really really is a nice man!!!!
This is the sweetest interview. Henry is so sweet and Bill’s shy smile is to die for.
Henry talks about Bill Like he's one of his kids. Absolutely precious!
It's so weird to think that one of Henry's kids is actually older than Bill lol
Henry: And we do Barry together!
Bill: And we do Barry together!
Henry gives Bill a smooch
Bill: I love you buddy
Henry: I love you!
Bill: Oh man, I love you man
*me: cries in the distance for the rest of recorded time*
martymcdie88 can you imagine a young Bill Hader watching Happy Days and Future Bill Hader shows up and says one day kid your going to create a show that will win Henry his first Emmy.
@@mr.barnes9342 I've thought of this more than once 🥺😭💕
😭😭😭😭
same here 😭 so so sweet 💕
Mr Winkler seems like a genuinely good person, and it’s nice to see good things happen to good people. Congratulations on the emmy!
Yes he is..
Very humble and appreciative indeed.
He truly is a man to call mr.
Hes even nicer than you think. Google what he does for kids
I love Henry's public (and by all accounts private) persona. Wonderful actor but he will always be the Fonz first and foremost. It can't be escaped!
I love it when dad's call their son's sweetie or sweetheart . . . heartwarming.
The way that Henry looked at Bill as he walked away says it all. It's almost like the relationship between his character Gene and Barry in the show. They genuinely care for each other. Also Henry has to be the most lovable person who ever lived.
According to an article they have breakfast together regularly.
Aged like milk man 😢 season 3 & 4 hit different
the fact that henry said i love you sweetie to his grown son is so heartwarming. thats beautiful .
It's official, I'm head over heels in love with Bill. He is so damn handsome and sweet.
welcome to the cult (:
Ditto 💕
Yeah, "crashed" as in: "was invited over by the host and Henry" 😂
yeah, or "was lovingly dragged into the spotlight by proud grandfather Henry" lol love them
Henry Winkler is so wholesome. I'm so happy that he has had more success later on in his career. It makes me so happy.
That interviewer was great, he allowed him to shine, to bad the environment is so rushed
"I love you buddy 🙂"
"I love you!"
What a pair of sweet, genuine, humble, and talented men. This is what america needs.
Okay, that was incredibly sweet, especially right at the end. How kind to be so affirming of Henry Winkler in that personal way. Thanks for the warm moment.
What a wonderful interview and the host is so kind too!
zombiezqueen yeah the interviewer was great, he allowed Henry to shine. Even though the environment is rushed they made time for a genuine moment in the end :)
"I'm very hungry." Henry Winkler is so forever cool.
Henry Winkler is such a humble, genuine, amazing & talented guy! Same with Bill Hader!!❤😊congrats to both of them. Well deserved. Great interview
I love him full stop. BUT the way he says I'm hungry in front all the huge production of ET warms my heart.
My favorite teacher in high school said he met Henry Winkler on vacation. He told us that not only was he genuinely nice, but he smelled fantastic.
He is such a sweetheart. Genuinely nice guy :)
Mr. Winkler deserves this award because he doesnt view this statue as an idol. It is just an award for all of his hard work. Very mature of you Mr. Winkler (And congratulations).
Legends support legends
Well said!☺
And you have Bill Hader in your background pic in Super Bad😁

Two of the most lovable dorks in Hollywood.

Its Crazy how Henry Winkler has been consistently entertaining people for like.....3 generations
BTW Bill is President of Hollywood.
Yes he is and from little ol’ Tulsa, Ok! We love him here too ❤️
“aaandy samboig”
"Funny cops...you're always pushin' the envelope, Andy..."
"So, I say, once again, you're welcome!"
You're welcome!
I can't believe this man never got an Emmy for his work on Happy Days, I'm shocked !! So glad he finally got one--ayyyyyy!!👍
This is one of the most peaceful and gentle interviews I have ever seen... it is wonderful. Love them all... congratulations
I’m so happy for Mr.Winkler he will always be the Fonz to me ❤️❤️❤️😘🙏🏽
He'll always be Barry Zuckerkorn for me
He's the type of person who, when you learn has been married for decades and decades, you go "oh, well, of course he would".
A true gentleman.
Ayyyyyyyyy
I think Henry needs to be added to the trinity of wholesomeness: Mister Rogers, Steve Irwin and Bob Ross.
This feels like those interviews in the 60s and 70s, it’s loose and relaxed, an actual nice conversation. More of this please 😊
The way the host ended this is probably the sweetest thing I ever seen. It's pretty hard to out-sweet Henry. Fantastic interview.
'We're buying property together in Monterey.' Haha, love these guys, so well-deserved.
Henry seems really kind. He was THE BIGGEST TV star in the 70’s. Happy Days, my favorite show ever as a kid.
this was just about the sweetest interview I've seen yet. was a bit unsure about how long the video is but I'm so glad I stayed for the entire thing. Henry and Bill are so so sweet
That moment at the end was very heartwarming. Henry seems like just the most genuine person in show business
I love the genuine love you can see they have for eachother :')
Good to see good things happen to good people. Well done Henry
What a nice guy, and a legend. Why can't everyone be like Henry Winkler?
Yay! If anybody watched "Barry" one great scene for Henry: Barry is quite upset after killing his friend Chris. Barry's in a back room after acting in the final play. I love that scene 😂😂😂
That scene is AMAZING! Also, the scene right before he goes out and having a panic attack about killing the dude and then goes out

sunkissed748 amen that scene is incredible ! Also the ‘you shouldn’t have done that ‘ and the ‘just shoot him’ scenes, bill hader is so damn talented

Well deserved. He killed it in Arrested Development. I don't remember ever seeing him in a bad role.
Shadow Heart
Lucille Bluth: “He’s very good.”
Bad Role? Naw
Unneeded Role? Many times, but still always a delight.

Had the honor of meeting Mr. Winkler and can definitely say that he will be remembered for being good to people 😊 he’s really like this with fans.
This is the sweetest interview I have ever seen. All of them are so so nice. Gives me a lot of good energy
he seems like such a gentle kind soul,so happy for him winning
FYI: If you both call Bill over to an on-going interview...he's not "crashing" it, he's just being nice. Ok?
thanks i was about to comment the same. idk why but i feel like this clickbait is rly unnecessary
I'll let him crash my interview anyway he wants!!
at least they say it's adorable cause it is
What's funny is he actually crashed John Mulaney's backstage interview. I don't know why they didn't title the video that.
I'm so happy for him. He's such a nice guy. I met him at a convention last year.
Henry seems like such a cool, mellow, nice man. I would love to just hang out with him and listen to stories.
SO HAPPY FOR YOU HENRY!!! WELL DESERVED!
Such a sweet, genuine, kind human being. I feel bad for his poor wife - hope that break heals quickly. Listen to him - it's all about his co-workers, and his kids, and growing as an actor and person, over the years. Congrats Mr. Winkler - well deserved.

DECADES IN THE MAKING
Henry is just the sweetest. And Bill is too. The whole video is just adorable.

"I love you buddy"
"I love you"
That hits different after Barry season 3
I love how in the middle of an interview he makes a phone call then leaves a voicemail. Priorities...I love it!
I am happy for Henry Winkler. I used to watch him on Happy Days ;-) Congratulations Mr. Winkler ;-)
I have a 19 hour flight to Bali in 2 weeks and I'm looking for some new TV series to watch on the plane. I take it Barry is a good place to start?
YYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSS
Amazing, authentic show. Impressive writing, incredible acting. Unique vibe to the show.
I love how he is pressing the buttons with his face.
Lol right??
I'm happy for both of them. Barry was so unique it was refreshing. Also Bill getting awards he deserves. They're all so talented
something about this guy, so sweet and genuine (pretty funny too).just has this glow they everyone kinda needs in there life. it makes me happy to see him so proud of his award.

Why do you write comments like this?
Listen to Pete Holm’s podcast with Henry Winkler. He is truly a good human and just living life the best he can, every day. Success at life, Henry!
Andrea Horan omg that was one of the best ymiw episodes of all time for sure
Let's also remember that he produced the original MacGyver.
Sweetest interview. It was fun to see Bill pop in.
I love that Henry Winkler is experiencing a second Renaissance. Barry is such a great show.
Two iconic gentlemen. Past and future. Both still gave plenty of gold left to show to the world. Long live these Two!
The comedian kings, SLAYING it like a damn pro!
What a nice man - used to love him on Happy Days, and was happy even back then to hear that he's a nice person. Humility goes a long way.
i like how the show as bold and sometimes violent as Barry has the sweetest cast ever

Aww, such loving friends. 😆
everything about that was lovely, the interviewer was awesome Mr Winkler and Henry all well deserving a great moment for the cameras. Nice to see genuine happy times.

there's like a genuine sweetness to this whole video that you don't usually get with hollywood interviews

I think Henry has only furthered Bill's humbleness and that will take him so far. 💙
Thank god we still have the fonz.
Such a wholesome interview
Kevin is a great interviewer. Keeps it light and fun. Super supportive and kind
Never paid attention, but they are both so humble. This made me smile.
The interviewer had such a nice, warm report with him.
This is like if your grandfather won an Emmy. He’s hot. He’s hungry. He’s not sure how to work a cell phone. You gotta love it. Or not.
Omg I love this man he reminds me of my grand pa .....saddest role is in click the movie....he does great in everything
Audie Fooshee sooooo sweet! :-)

What a dear, lovely man - Bill Hader joining his interview was just a bonus ❤
5:02 awwwwwwww that little kiss tho
Love them 🌟💖
Every performance by Henry Winkler is brought to you by the letter "Ayyyy!" . . . with two thumbs up, of course.
