“ Most people are on AQA “ of course my school has to be different 🙄
Same edexcel gang

Same 😂😂😂
@@hannahleanne3555 update: I dropped pyscology 😂😂😂
Qais Baraki I’m contemplating too😂😂😂
@@hannahleanne3555 you might aswell drop if you dislike the subject before it’s too late 😂
@@qaisbaraki6124 i was just about to say at the time you made that comment you really could have changed. i wish i did lmao
This was a little revision session🥺 I love it
my issue is that my teacher doesn't give us notes, we do tasks from the textbook and then evaluate it - it's genuinely so stressful i have my mocks in 6 weeks and i genuinely cannot comprehend anything at all - so i genuinely don't know what to do
Maybe u should say genuinely less
@@fizzymilk610 that is not helpful
“Tip one - Make good notes” 🤔🤦🏻♀️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 ARGHHHHH
Im not even doing psychology but you looked gorgeous in the thumbnail so I had to click 😍😍
Still miss her other videos like blogs and art journal flip through videos :(
it helped but now im stressing even more. so thanks
I’m doing a level psychology next year. Is it worth reading ahead? And also is Seneca useful because I use it for most of my GCSE’s now , especially for history because it has a condensed version of the course with mini test things at the end of each topic?
How would you go about practicing 'all possible essays'? Is that just based on past papers or making your own based on the spec?
Thanks for the tips! You mentioned doing essay plans for every question (6:00), but i was wondering where i would find all the questions. Do you just look at loads of past papers and write down all the question titles, or do you make up your own ones? Thank youu 😊 ✨
There should be 16 marker at the end of each mini topic in the psychology textbook :)
Zainaab Giwa thank you so much!!
Hi sorry to ask a daft question but are you allowed to take any reading material or books into the exam with you? Thank you and well done!
Not really
hiii ! this video is really helpful. i am interested in learning psychology tho, and you are making me more into it. tysm ! btw, can you send me an example of your essay ?
fancy you
I'm doing Psychology next year, super helpful thank you!
ayeee its been a year and i believe you're doing psychology now?
This was so helpful! Do you have any tips on how to summarise the information? I can't do it properly and any tips on how to write fast in exams? Thank you 💕
divide each section in your exam according to how long the exam is. for example paper 2 = research methods, biopsychology and approaches. depending on how many marks for each section (48,24,24) that gives you a rough time on how much you should be spending on the sections. 16 markers shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes! practising essay writing will help you time manage a lot easier. don't use inky pens use ballpoint because it helps write easier! I can't really help when it comes to summarising information - I can only suggest that you read EVERYTHING, process the information, then write the most important facts etc down. I don't use full sentences meaning I cut out things like "the... afterwards... and it is then..." basic bullet points with the keywords needed helps to chunk information and remember easier! I also use arrows facing up and down for "increase" "decrease" not only does it save time but it helps me visualise my notes nicely. any other questions, don't hesitate to ask! I hope this helps in some way, these are just my tips :) xx
@@gubeyaz4886 thank you so much for responding with your tips. Good luck with your exams 💕
@@euphoria1942 write what you learnt then close or hide what you just wrote and recall it
Do it as many time as you can until you get 100% content right
It works trust me
Thank you so much for sharing. My daughter is really struggling with psychology at the moment due to the vast amount of content to learn. This has been a big help. Thank you :)
Lol, when you pulled out your 2 folders, part of me died because I have 6 and they are completely full. Pls send help.
Hi, I have a question regarding study time. How many hours a week did you invest into your psychology A level whilst also taking into account your other A levels?
I don't even have psychology as a subject still watching this video don't know why . Love you gulbeyaz 😘
heyyy fellow zquad
This was really useful! I’m doing psychology next year at a levels and I’m super excited for it. I was just wondering what uni were you thinking of going in September for psychology?
SA hopefully southampton, if not then plymouth x
Gu/beyaz I hope you get in good luck!!! xxx
A2 this year, finally putting my head down. Honestly didnt search this video don't know how it got recommended to me but I suggest looking into active recall methods and spaced repetition. They are highly effective and relatively good at saving time.
Both techniques work hand in hand. Learnt it from another youtuber cant quite remeber his name. I use it to skip making summarized notes since I hate copying and pasting or trying to think hard about summarizing alot of content.
Do u have a video showing how u do essay plans as I struggle with them if u dont could u possible do one 🤷♀️ or explain it to me pleas
how do you know what 16 mark questions to do an essay plan on, do you have to buy the tutor2u booklet? x
edit: or do the green and pink haired girl revision book have all of them because i've got that
I’m in year 13 and I’m watching this 🤷🏾♀️ Good luck for our next exam on Friday.
Tracey M Hi I would really appreciate hearing about how you found A level psychology, as I am trying to pick between it and biology for A levels. The only thing putting me off is that many people seem to find it boring which is a big worry as finding it interesting is the only reason I’m taking the subject. Also how surface level is the content, like is the content actually hard to understand or is there just lots to remember. Also how much biology is in psychology. Thanks.
@@endelvelt7650 idk if it’ll help cause it’s been a year but I do biology and psychology. Personally I love psychology but it does have more content than bio, they both are kind of similar tbh it’s a lot of content and memorisation.
I started doing Edexcel A level Psychology and I will be self studying so can anyone help me that which resources should I use and which youtube channels should I watch
there is a website called Physicsandmathstutor with revision materials
hi. just came across ur comment. I wanted to ask about ur progress in psychology! is it possible to self study ?
@@tasmiatawaz3896 Hey!
I dropped psychology after trying it for 1 month. Actually I needed a guide to understand the syllabus and materials properly so it didn't go well with me.😢
@@tasmiatawaz3896 And I think it is possible to self study psychology
As each individual's learning method and ability is different.
Being hardly an average student was not a good idea for me.
So it varies from individuals to individuals whether you can do it or not 😊❤️
Don’t even have psychology as a subject but she caught my attention from another important video🥰🤩
whats the difference between essay plans and the info on the revision guide? how much should you write for ao3,ao1 ? thxx
Presence Tse
Essay plans are usually 16 marks (for AQA atleast) they can be 12 marks aswell. But for a long question like that 6 marks is for AO1 so facts and info about the topic asked in the question. It can be about 1 paragraph. But the A03 is really important in these long questions so around 2 strengths 2 weaknesses its up to u or u can even get away with 3 well detailed ones. Essay plans are weitten up essays for different topics using your textbook school notes and other info. These written essays are really useful because if u write one up for each or most of the sub topics then its very possible for the same ones to come up in the actual exam
Can you please do a video for as level psychology? pleaseeeee!!!!!!
bro you're kinda pretty

Would it be hard to take a-level psychology without taking any sciences
Hi!! I just came across your channel and i already love it! I'm in year 12 and just finished my AS, psychology is literally my favourite! I was wondering if you will continue making videos about psychology in uni? Also, what are you planning to do after your psychology degree?? Thanks again!! Love, Mel x
I will definitely be making more videos in university! hopefully things like uni vlogs, my experience through my first year for sure! I'm not completely set on what I want to do with my degree but I know that I want to get a masters and get into something like counselling, therapy etc dealing with young teens with mental health issues.

How many a-levels did you do and which ones were they? :)
This was super helpful thank you.
Use retrieval practice to recall things you learn to make sure your memory is strong for exams, Don't rely on notes as they're low utilized and aren't very effective.
Create Flashcards and Enjoy your revision xx
❣
how did u effectivley make flashcards i used it at Gcse but i want to do it right
@@Blessingstevens06 Get your revision guide or open SENECA if you want to or whatever resource you use to learn such as Cgp book or any.
Then learn the definition and turn this into question on your side of flashcard and then answer on the back speak out loud to explain yourself if possible
Keep doing this
Until you get to point where you successfully made 10 questions then go back and answer those question without looking at answer, everytime you get it wrong go back to beginning and start from there
Hope you understand
