If you are a white man and ever wondered if you are racist or chauvinistic, ask yourself how you respond emotionally to this video. This black woman is PRECISELY the opposite of cliche white male complaints about either. Instead of a golddigger, she's made a fortune for herself from very humble beginnings, not as a Insta model or beauty celebrity, but as a corporate executive. Instead of having a race-centered life, she has a business-centered life and just wants race to not dominate people's thoughts on her. Instead of being "lazy" or "too emotional" she's super poised and extremely hard working. If you don't like this woman, ask yourself what might be informing that dislike that doesn't deal with the content of her character.

Successful. Works her way up and up. So...the story's about her being Black, a Woman, and successful. Can't just be successful? Even after all her hard work and concentration the "news" they choose is that she's successful while Black/Female. Do we ever want to get used to the idea, or all we all going to settle for the story-pumping? I bet she had A LOT MORE to overcome than being Black OR a woman (like most billion-dollar managers do). I respect the CHAMPION in her that overcame all the stuff this "TODAY" show left out on their way to another social study.
