I’m so glad you talked about how to deal with stamps that won’t stick anymore. I was going to ask. That stamping drawer of yours - swoon! I love all your videos, Julie! Thanks for taking time to do these videos for us!
Really useful information, thanks for sharing Julie. That ink drawer is dreamy 💕 I’d forgot about the mat idea. I’d never thought about bold stamps lighter colour, will definitely consider that when I next stamp. Look forward to the next in the series
I would suggest looking at the Scrapbook dot com acrylic blocks they are my favorite they are thicker easier to he and they have this small circle one which works well with icons
Might want to check out the Misti stamping tool. Its a stamp positioner. Some might think it’s overkill, but for those of us who are compulsive it is work a look.
I actually bought the smaller version. I had it in mind more for cards and I don't think my planner sized paper will work... i'll check on that. Thanks for the reminder!
Yes, I’ve gotten questions lately about the basics from people just testing the waters in stamping, so wanted to start from the beginning. 😊 I love this drawer, too... it’s like pulling out a happy rainbow every time I open it. 😊
Hello, what is the ink color you used for the dates on your planner shown? I did watch part 2 of your video and the color Bashful has been discontinued and wanted to find out if that's what you used here and if so, can recommend a close color to it. Thank you
Hi Nisha! I am not for sure what color that is… very likely Bashful but CTMH “Ballerina” is a close one. bit.ly/30LnGh7 Another good option is the blush color ink from The Stamp Market! bit.ly/TSMblushcube
Hi I am new subscriber to your channel. I would like to purchase the complete set of the monthly stamp under your affiliate links, but the problem is one stamp is sold out. Is the monthly stamp your recommend permanent? Will this monthly stamp get discontinued? Please help. The April stamp has sold out!!!
Hi Marilyn! Thank you so much for subscribing! Studio Calico sets can sell out quickly, but they do tend to restock them! There is a “notify me” button and they will send an email as soon as the stamp is available. I think these are popular stamps that they do plan to keep in stock.. not permanently, but at least through this year as they continue to release new months!
@@plan2create You welcome, thank you for your content and for replying back. I was in a chat with them all day yesterday, not sure if there is an interest in the older monthly stamps. I wonder once they sell out of those that will be it. Do you like the newer sets more than the older set?
I honestly like both sets, almost equally. I love the different fonts they've used for the months and find different ways to use them throughout my planners.
@@plan2create Hello, just wanted to let you know that I used your links to buy July stamps and for the rest of the year. Thank you for recommending this stamp set. Do you know of a good monthly calendar set I could try? Thank you for your help, also please include any affelliate link.
Hi Marilyn! Hope you love your new sets and thank you is much for using my links! 💕 As far as a monthly set, do you mean the numbers? If so, this one from Studio L2E is a favorite of mine: www.studiol2e.com/just-the-dates/
Thank you Julie! This is very helpful. I'll be practicing this weekend.
Yay!!! 🤗🤗
Thank you for this tutorial! I’m curious about using stamps in my planner just not sure if I want to invest also dealing with the mess.
Great video!
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed it and hope you take the leap into stamping! ☺️

Thank you, Tracey!! I forget about the mat idea a lot, too! 😂 I’m not sure it makes a huge difference, but it’s worth trying! 😊

"To hold"
Yes! My rectangle scalloped ones are theirs and they work great! I also have that smaller circle and you’re right- it’s great for smaller icons! 🙌🏻

Back to the basics! I love it! Need to go shopping for a decent acrylic block.
Also, I'm jealous of your ink drawer 💕

@@plan2create Thank you, I will give Ballerina a try and see :) Btw have you tried Mulberry on the Hobonichi?
@@MsNishaF No, but I just ordered it today and I want to use it for sure in my creative journal if not my Hobonichi! Have you tried it?
Actually I ordered it today as well! Looking forward to trying it out!
Don't get The Happy Planner ones. They are not good quality and they were not cheap cost wise.
Those are the ones that I had a bad experience with! I was so disappointed!!
