I've seen a lot of people resell this bag online for prices that are less than $100, so if anything, I can see that the bag has gained a lot of popularity. It just isn't my style though, but for the price, you really can't beat it! For anyone [in the US] who's interested in buying this item used or for less money, I tend to use Poshmark the most, but I've also used Mercari for similar purchases in the past 🙂

@@LValiquette yes ma’am. Also I had the same goyard as you, the smaller one but the straps kept falling off of my shoulders so I sold that one and got the bigger one and omg loooooove it so much more!!!

Lauren! My first designer bag was also a Marc by Marc Jacobs - it wasn’t the Hillier Hobo, but it was a bag that I saw Lauren (“LC”) Conrad wearing (from Laguna Beach and The Hills). I don’t use it anymore, but I just can’t seem to get rid of it because it’s so sentimental to me. The best part about buying this bag was walking out of Holt Renfrew carrying their bright fuschia bag, and feeling so posh. 😂
Omg! I think I I know which bag you are talking about! I loved the Hills, never missed an episode 😂. I know the feeling with Holt’s fuschia bags, to this day I still feel posh haha. The quality of the MBMJ leather bags back then was so good. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of mine either.

You inspired me to pick this up! - did my little research of course and searched for the best deals and managed to get it on offer on farfetch with a discount! i love the way you styled this bag here and the thorough overview. I can see myself using this every day and for work occasionally. I am in love with the crossbody strap and the thick canvas. I got the small black too and at 5'4 its the perfect size for me! I was a bit worried that the black would collect lint, but it seems ok! It will probably need a lint roll occasionally. But, I wear almost all black and have a green cat, so I’m used to the lint haha. The beige is gorgeous too, you can’t go wrong with either colour!

I have the larger one and I didn’t even notice the coated canvas in the inside. I like the larger for travel but now I am considering the smaller for a work bag.
I went back and forth between the large and the small size. The large is perfect for travel. Did you see the new mini size...it's so cute!

i have this bag in black and love its functionality and sturdiness. However, i find that the fabric material of the bag does tend to pickup all fluff and lints, and especially obvious against the black....so i have to lint roll it every time I use it
It does get lint! I am so used to since I tend to wear black outfits all the time...a lint roller is a must!

@@LValiquette I just received it last Friday but unfortunately, the bag was only wrapped with a tissue paper and it was raining when it got delivered hence it got wet especially the bottom. I put it inside and out and hoping the bottom will dry completely. The bag is now sold out in Selfridges hence I cannot even exchange it

It is a lint magnet haha! But I wear a lot of black in general, so I always have a lint roller nearby. If you don't want to think about the lint, perhaps go with a lighter colour 😊, like the khaki green.

This is such a cute bag!😍 Would it fit a 15-inch MacBook Pro in it? I can’t decide between the small or large size since the large size doesn’t come with a removable strap and I would like to have the strap.
It fits my 13" macbook air quite easily, but i'm not sure about the macbook pro! The shoulder strap definitely helps ease shoulder pain and tension if you fill up the bag.
