I just bought the real thing on Amazon for $145.00 for use on my USMC M16A4 HBAR 20" government profile rifle. It makes for a sweet combo and completes the gun. It will fit on all 20" and 14.5" mil-spec rifles. Outstanding quality.
Been wanting to get a ka-bar but the store had this one in the case and its definitely the first time I had seen one for sale and almost bought it right there but knew to check online to see how much they are.
@@neiljonielunas5069 It's a fake, the real one has "COMBAT USMC" stamped on the blade, not silkscreen in white. Do your research, sorry you've been had by Midway, complain to them.
No its not longer, its the same lenght. Also now military is getting issued laser engraved versions now, but its still more common to the find the stamped version.
Yes I understand their expensive but they are worth it the quality is superb, thanks for the feedback please consider subscribing for more content. Thank you
A foreign competitor actually had the contract ... but USA companies complained. Few of those made it into the public's hand. B2K system 2000 is a personal favorite of mine. Get 'em all in my opinion. No, do not pass on the OKC-3S ... just picked one up for the collection. Is there a difference between the commercial and military contract versions of the OKC-3S?
No there’s no difference between the two , thank you for the comment please consider subscribing to the channel to help us reach a broader audience thanks
I just got one but the handle is hard not as soft as I expected. I notice they now call it hytrel handle instead of dynaflex at Ontario. The blade is not as black either. Perhaps they have made some recent changes to them at Ontario 🤷🏼♂️
@@dolf3288 that’s interesting I will have to acquire a new one and take a look, thanks for the feedback, please consider subscribing to the channel to help us reach a broader audience thanks.
Got one for my DDM4A1 and I’m going to grab an M7-B and M9 ASAP. Ontario has closed their doors. Who’s gonna make quality AR bayonets now? All the rest of em out there are cheapo.
Yes but it might be loose depending on the thickness of the belt, thank you for the comment please consider subscribing to the channel to help us reach a broader audience thanks 🙏🏼
53-58? That's a huge ass difference. Most knives stay in the 2hrc difference range, but 5? Naah. Ontario even states that it's actually 55-57. Also it has a full length stick tang, not a full tang. I think this knife is excellent, but just a few specifics were off.
But your love for this blade and your patriotism in the last half made this an extremely enjoyable video and you earned a subscriber! Keep making videos man!

The prior bayonet was the M9. More prevelant and with the Marines was the M7 probably there's crates full still in some armories alongside black Ontario contract "Ka Bar" type combat knives and cruise boxes full of wrapped 1911 mags. Just saying. It's not beautiful, it's not a masterpiece. It's made to kill and handle rough tasks. Did not replace the Ka Bar. The Ka Bar isn't a bayonet. Yours is a later civ model made for commercial sale. Originals are stamped: Combat USMC
Outstanding! I prefer to buy two at a time when I buy combat or survival knives. Refer to my knife sharpening videos, but I for the two you got I would put back on factory razor sharp secondary cutting edges. I do this with 220 then 400 grit same process as the manufacturers.

I just got mine from Midway. To be used on my AR-15A4, and my 870 Police.
Then you bought a fake one, it doesn't have the stamp USMC on blade.

You can get a MOLLE/ALICE adapter, otherwise just strap it through your trouser belt.

If you have a Mil-Spec gas block, you have a bayonet lug.

This will atatch to a Mossberg 590A1 nicely, RIGHT??
