When I lived in Sweden it has astonished me....fika, everyday an about one hour break (usually after lunch time) for coffee and cakes, sweets, candies consumption and ....conversations. I started to like it.

I stayed with swedish friends and I had fika and it was lovely. My favourite is the chocolate balls omg I miss those. Any swedish wanna send me a box of those haha
Chocolate balls
300 ml oats
1 tsp vanilla sugar
100 ml caster sugar
2-3 tbs cold black coffee
3-4 tbs cocoa
100 g butter
Mix it all up and then roll them into pearl sugar :)

Add on to the chocolate ball reciepe(?): an alternative is to roll them in coconut flakes or sprinkles instead of pearl sugar :)

I just visited Sweden for the very first time and got back the other night. I met such wonderful people over there and experienced the Swedish fika! It was fantastic and I had a great time.
