I‘m watchuing this now the third time and i‘m realising that this anime showed me what real friendship is.
WELL YEA ITS AMAZING but gon is really selfish and doesnt understand what he is doing to killua, and killua is too inexperienced to tell him how he feels it is heartbreaking to watch and i hate the end

I actually don't think gon is selfish.. His goal was to find his dad whatever it takes and he tried to achieve that. Killua followed him and they had a great time. In the end, killua also found a goal for himself - to protect alluka.
Plus, he'd do everything for his friends (he literally lost an arm because he was angry that he wasn't able to protect a friend).
In my opinion it's nothing selfish about to follow your own goals, even these are different than the goals from your friends but I do get what u mean

Gon & Killuas friendship reminds me of the one I had with my chilldhood best friend. We grew up together and now we’re strangers. It hurts and it’s my fault. I’ve said something similar to what Gon said when we started to drift apart and then we never really talked again. I tried to make up for my mistake 2 years later but it didn’t work out. It was too late. And I wish, it would’ve been different. It’s something I won’t forgive myself for. If we only weren’t strangers now.
