@Prestonmorrison4094 I know the part that you shared about your best friend was vulnerable for you to share for several reasons, but God used it to touch my heart in such an intimate way. He spoke to me directly during that part in such a sweet, and personal way to reveal some things concerning a situation I’ve needed more clarity with. So thank you for being obedient to do that! 🥹💗😊

Preston, thank you so much for sharing. You are not the only one going through this. Pride used to be my middle name. The Lord had to deal with me just like He had to deal with you. My pride was so bad that the Lord gave me a dream where I was part of the Pharisees that was criticizing Jesus for healing a man on Sabbath. The worst thing about that is, when I woke up, I told God, "Well, according to Scripture, you are not to do work during the Sabbath. I don't understand why the Pharisees were wrong." That's what I told God when He gave me that dream. Thinking about it, still till this day, makes my heart hurt and tears in my eyes.

Some of the most profound things Gid said to me in private are hard to share with anyone. Even to write it down in my journal. But, i know that when the time comes the only thing that will overcome my reluctance is obedience to the skied and perhaps because someone else needed that encouragement. Thank you, I know it was hard to be so vulnerable. 58:57

So many internet pastors have that disgusting scent of pride about them… sometimes it’s subtle but we sense it don’t we?
Man, Preston doesn’t reek of that pride whatsoever. I thank God so much for this man being an example of one who is gifted but has overcome pride. So rare. So very very rare. God bless this man Preston! Praise God always and forever.

What if you can't point to a lion or bear in your life that God has conquered, so there is no confidence that God will do those things for ME..not just stories in the Bible. I grew up in the church so I may be jaded..🤷🏿‍♂️
