Good review man. I’ve had my eye on this ladder at the depot for about a year now. They do go on sale often. Right now it’s on sale for $129.00 but they’ve had it for 99.00 on numerous occasions like Black Friday and etc.

I bought mine yesterday at Home Depot and, like you, I'm glad I did. Much lighter than my old extension ladder which was like carrying a tank.

My friend who is also my boss fell about 10 feet off of a steep roof the other day. Luckily he’s only scratched and bruised up, but could have been worse. We all need to be careful and anchor ourselves to the roof even for short jobs. We owe it to our families to be safe and come home in one piece everyday. Great review as always

Such an amazing video cannot thank you enough. I've had my ladder sitting here wrapped up for 8 months waiting for me to use it and do scared to do it. It's finally spring up here in the mountains and my niece came over, found your amazing video and we are off on an adventure with our ladder. All things to your video. So excited we have subscribed to you and are waiting to go on more Adventures. You made it so simple and easy when it seems so scary but it looked so amazing when I bought it. Thank you thank you thank you!

Great video. The Werner did seem a little heavier to me. Which might mean sturdier but at 62 I need things as light as possible. I got the 23ft Gorilla. It has the work top which is nice. It's sturdy and I'm very pleased with it so far.

I just picked one up yesterday. I needed something to get me onto a 10 foot roof. I put a couple eye hooks in the facia to anchor to, more to make me feel more secure. Missed the rafters cuz everything is behind vinyl siding. May try it again if I can find the rafters. Ladder is very stable, I'm not disappointed. Also one who is not fond of getting on and off roofs

I love my Werner multi ladder. We use a little giant at work and I like the Werner better. Never tried the gorilla. Any multi ladder in this style is worth their weight in gold. The ability to work on stairs is awesome. I’ve always felt safe on them and that’s worth the hassle of carrying the extra weight around.

I will definitely have to check this ladder out. I have one similar to this, not sure of the brand. But you have to twist the knobs at the top to open and close it. With the age of the ladder and myself, i just dont have the hand strength anymore to twist the knobs. This looks like an excellent replacement

Bought a 26’ Werner. Didn’t like the plastic knobs and 1/4” rods used to adjust height on Gorilla. Was concerned the height adjustment knobs would break if the ladder fell over or was dropped. The 26’ Werner is a heavy 50# however.

Just got the 22ft ladder and I agree with you this is one of the easiest ladders to use and makes you forget all about Warner ladders. Now little giants are a competitor I believe they are carried at Lowe’s where is gorrilla is a Home Depot exclusive. Either ladder is great and comes with lifetime warranty’s. Either way please anchor yourself in every time it only takes one mistake to be messed up for quite a while trust me I know. Be safe guys and remember I lord and savior died for your sins and loves you eternally.

I bought it to put a curtain on a high window and paint a large foyer. Before I started, I put it back to its base state and I’m about to take it back to grab a Werner extension ladder. Listen, this thing is really cool and certainly can be a convenient tool for quick jobs. But if you need it fully extended or need to do longer jobs DO NOT BUY. The platforms are an inch wide and will wear your feet and balancing muscles out. It has a loft of flex if you’re in that 200 lbs area and you will be shaking from the rungs thinness. If you only do quick simple jobs, get it...but 300 isn’t worth being more portable. It’s basically okay at everything but not great at anything. Rather have an extension and a frame on standby.

One MAJOR thing: Depending on the length/adjustment, you might be standing on a 1" wide square step. This is NOT comfortable to your feet at all when up on the ladder for extended periods (painting, power washing, etc.)! I've not seen this mentioned at all in over 40 reviews... of ANY brand of these multi-position ladders.

    • @imdeplorable2241

Absolutely true. If you are on these ladders wearing sneakers or some other soft-soled shoes, your feet (arches) are going to be killing you at the end of the day. You really need serious work boots with strong arch supports.
I have a multifunction ladder with 1" square tubes for rungs. I speak from experience.

The twist knobs on the side is such a bad design, engineers should be fired. For people over 50, and once the ladder is a little older, it is extremely difficult to turn those knobs. Very bad design. There are other better designs.

HORRIBLE LADDER, NEEDS TO COME WITH A WARNING LABEL. WILL RUIN YOUR BACK AND FEET.
THE ONLY THING THIS MIGHT BE GOOD FOR IS TO POSSIBLY CHANGE A LIGHT BULB ON A STAIRCASE. IF IT IS TALL ENOUGH. RUNGS ARE WAY TOO SKINNY AND THE WHOLE UNIT IS WAY TOO WOBBLY AND BENDS OR ARCS INWARD WHICH IS A SLIPPING HAZARD. THIS IS A HEAVY DANGEROUS BACK-BREAKING PIECE OF GARBAGE. GOT RID OF MINE.
