Praise the Lord Jesus our Messiah
Now that's what real Blues is all about!!!
Especially in those difficult times! What a performance! Great harp playing as well! Ouah! You made my day!
This fellow has got so much sole he'll never have to buy another pair of shoes in this life
Carrie and Lurie the pride of Garry

A true song !!!
❤️
Yessssss🔥‼️😎
I LIKE IT
I wish I could sit down with this harp player for about 30 minutes! I bet he could show me a thing or two.
He is definitely an anguished man. But that guitar player is opening the gates. 4 gates to the city
Nice laid back groove...
Lurrie's stomping foot should be listed on the instrumentation- vital to this version!
I like this version because it has more verses to it I've heard other Renditions with just a lot of music and not all the different verses. But under categories it says comedy and this is not comedy this is serious
There are more verses in existence than this. Rev. Joe May does a couple different, and AllGospelLyrics, com has an extra 4th vs, and in gospel versions, there are a couple different end vamps.
I am the harmonica player on this video. Interesting fact: the Black audiences we played for in Chicago thought this song was hilarious, whereas the white folks took it really seriously. The lyrics are funny as heck!! It's tongue in cheek. In no way is it blasphemous, it just celebrates faith with a sense of humor and the notion that the devil can be laughed at as well as feared.
I told Putin "Don't Let the Devil Ride"
Kingfish brought me here!!! Glad he did!!!!
