It was a pleasure capturing these behind the scenes and putting this “documentary” together haha wouldn’t be the same without the incredible people in this!
I still think about this trip every. single. day. I met so much awesome people and had so much fun. Thank you again to Nick, Yuki and Steven! And to everyone on this trip hope to see you again!
Shout-out to this guy for being an awesome roommate on this trip. I had totally forgotten you did your interview with the Hello Kitty in your back pocket haha! Love you man, hope you're doing well.
This trip was such a blast! Couldn’t have gone any better. Getting along with Nick and our group while exploring a new country and eating delicious food is something I won’t ever forget. Thank you Nick, Steven and Yuki!
I absolutely loved every second of this trip. Thank you so much to Nick, Steven, and Yuki for making this happen! It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you also to all the commenters who congratulated me on getting my degree! To everyone who has had similar struggles with mental health, please know that as hard as things are in the moment, there is also hope for a better future. Your struggles don't DEFINE who you are, but they can REFINE you. Keep pushing forward and know that I believe in all of you. You've got this!
Congratulations man. I dropped out of university when I was 19 because of MH difficulties but went back and got a degree later in life even though it was a struggle so I can appreciate the struggle! 👊
I was on the second trip, and I can confirm all the good things people said in this video. Yuki guided us again, and she was indeed fantastic (and we even got her playing Pokemon Go). Wait until you see what she added to the Hello Kitty on top of her guide stick. I'll wait until our video goes up to say more.
The editing of this video, footage, and audio is phenomenal. This is top tier quality, Nick. So cool you continue to upload. Jealous of all the people who got to go.
Seriously the best tour guide! When TrovaTrip had us do reviews at the end I made sure to call you out for making everything go so smoothly and taking care of us. I have a gluten allergy and Yuki went out of her way to make sure I always had something I could eat at every meal, even when that meant missing some of the free time in Osaka so she could bring me and one of the other guys in our group to get lunch at a gluten free restaurant. This woman is a treasure and I highly recommend any trip she's a part of!
OMG, so fun to see this video and see everyone again. This trip to Japan was so amazing! Really glad I went and got to meet Nick, Steven, Yuki and all of my fellow trainers on the very first Trainer Tips Trainers Trip 😊 I hope you do many more, Nick, and maybe I'll get to go on another one! Thank you for making this video, Steven ❤
I don’t know why this always surprises me but the demographic is never what I expect it to be!! Incredible to see different ages and genders. I always think as a 33 yo female that it’s probably all teen boys watching UA-cam but of course it’s not!! So refreshing to hear from such a nice group you took with you ❤
I absolutely love this. I discovered Nick due to PokemonGo content I was in to, but I definitely stayed for the traveling content as well & the deep appreciation of every culture he’s shared thru a lens for all of us to see on here.
Thanks to Nick, Steven, & Yuki for making the trip awesome. also thanks to everyone else on the trip y'all were awesome too, overall great trip, can't wait to go again, already signed up to get notified about Japan 3 & Ireland 1
WOW! I'm so happy so many people were able to share such an amazing experience together! What a great group! I'm so jealous! I wanted to go but knew I couldn't take off work...this time ;)
Shoutout to Steven! The content has been so enjoyable to watch. Steven and Nick seem like such genuinely nice people. I'm looking forward to meeting them someday. Hopefully on one these trips!
This video was very beautiful to watch and congrats Chris on getting your degree and thanks Steve for filming this beautiful video have fun on the future trip
You’re such a freaking champion of the people man. We all love you bro thanks for so many years of cultural diversion , amazing videography, and cinematography, as well as the Pokemon tips , tricks and highlights. But for me. You have created a whole new world for so many people, queues Aladdin music. lol 😂 love yah bro, above and beyond 4 life .
So inspiring and fun to watch everyone's experiences and hope to join you myself someday, perhaps 2026! Excited to hear that more trips are in the works and looking forward to following along
i didn't know about this, i must say this is an incredible expierence to have with someone you've probably been following for a good while! looking forward to seeing an extented video of this!
What a fun trip for you all. I have wanted to visit Japan for many years and going with other PoGo fans would be special especially with Nick who enjoys experiencing the culture of the places he goes to. I have watched Nick almost since the beginning but really got hooked on his channel vs others as he started fixing up the camper and taking us with to the beautiful parks.
What I love the most about this travel group is that the people are very diverse. I would have thought more younger side of players would join but we see wide age range ❤️
What a beautiful video! It would be an absolute dream to join you on a trip, but the time just isn't right. I'm so envious of those who have the chance to go.
This looks like it was a great opportunity for everyone who was able to attend. Maybe some time in the future you can take a group to the Gozan Fire Festival outside of Kyoto!
Ever since I saw Nick post about the Trovatrip, I was waiting for this video! I will be in Egypt when you go to Japan next year but I am intrigued by Ireland! Being from England, I have never been. It is a very short flight for me 😂
I've always wondered how these trips work and I definitely want to try one someday. Love seeing everyone come together through a common interest from all walks of life
I thought I had missed something! I saw you moving from LB but didn't remember hearing why or what brought it about. Then I see IG posts of Japan and thought you moved to Japan! And well, I'm still in the dark but just glad you're doing videos still LOL. Looks like an amazing adventure.
I hope you know you're my favorite channel. You involve Pokemon but you also involve my favorite aspect, travel. Thank you so much. I hope one day I can thank you in person.
Thankyou to the team and all involved in this video, especially Nick for sharing this experience with the rest of us. Felt like we were there with you.
sooo next meet up at an above and beyond show?? Great video and looks like everyone had an awesome time. Nick's respect for the culture really comes through the videos, and it's nice to hear it's true even when the cameras are off.
Love your videos! This has been my favorite so far! Great that subscribers got to go and have the experience! Best part of life are the experiences and memories you make. Sounds like it was a blast! Keep it up Nick!
Amazing! My wife and I just came back from Japan for the first times for our honeymoon! Was an amazing experience as we also visited Tokyo, kyoto, and osaka ! The food and the experiences were surreal. Some highlights were obviously the food (kobe and wagyu beef❤), a few team labs, Disney sea, universal ( especially the Mario part), manga museum where we both got a drawing done of ourselves with a professional anime sketcher!
I was lucky enough to go to Japan this year and had the exact same surreal feeling having watched your Mew video when I climbed Fushimi Inari Thanks for all the great travel experiences you have shared over the years
Hey James! Thank you and we needed a video like this for the first trip only. We didn’t have plans of doing it for the second one but we have an amazing video lined up for the second one!! Can’t wait for you to see
Nick, the production quality of your videos has gotten so insane 🤩 you make me want to take more time to travel, so I’m going to! Also, HUGE shoutout to Yuki and Steven ❤ you guys are incredible!
Bro quit tempting me with trips to Japan and Ireland. I'd love to do both but foolish me my passport lapsed back in college, aaaaaand tl;dr I'm poor even as a jewelry maker. Glorious video and I look forward to many more of your cinematic works!
Nick is literally doing niantic's mission. Getting the community out, bringing them together and exploring different cultures. Amazing to watch.
So happy to have done this trip with so many amazing memories. Feeling incredibly grateful.
Congrats to Chris on getting that degree!

I like that Nick focuses on one’s surroundings and cultural experiences in addition to Pokémon go.
