This is a beautiful rendition of an old favorite and is based on one of the Cambridge Flying Groups de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth aircraft. The original aircraft was built in 1944. It comes in the yellow and silver livery of the London Aero Club. This model is made of balsa and can be powered by either glow or electric.
The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger moth was designed by Geoffrey de Havilland in the 1930s. It was operated by the Royal Air Force and many other air forces as a two-seat primary trainer before and during World War II. It has been used all other the world with many examples still flying.
As well as determining the power type this model also requires some assembly as well as fitting of the motor/engine and other electronics. It is recommended to use a 750W electric motor or a .46 2 Stroke or .70 4 Stroke engine. It will require 4 servos for electric or 5 servos for gas setup.
The Tiger Moth is a superb flier and gives a distinguished presence in the air. A must for every hanger.

I will have to say you guys have inspired me to click the button on this beautiful sexy plane. This will be one of the planes that will honor my home country of Canada and it's bush plane history. This one and the Beaver you guys received from our countrymen in Saskatchewan. These will be the two that will salute the brave pilots of our aviation heritage.

Those moles are NASTY!! On the upside, at least you can fly today...here it's -27C with a windchill of -41C. Not even the birds are flying! But we don't have any moles either. Hahahaha... Enjoy the warm weather you're having! We have a couple of months yet before we can even think about it. But I will salute Hobby King ...that is one sexy plane for sure.

I met Stuart last year at Weston Park model airshow when he was working for Motion and he sold me one of his planes that he'd had for a while, it's a rather special bird that I won't fly because it's a kind of a one of a kind and I can't take the risk.All I can say about him is that he's a really great guy and has a fantastic passion for the hobby, it's a shame he had to leave Hobbyking because while he was there they always had something really interesting coming out all the time "plenty of warbirds". I don't really know what's going on with him at the moment but I certainly wish him all the best in whichever direction he's going..P.s I've just got to get the wings on my Moth and then she's ready to go, what a great model this is..All the Best guys from Blighty

Another great flight of a well built plane by Captain Blaz. I think the engine suits the plane perfectly, soft landing gear is a common problem and an easy fix. I think it takes some serious skill to navigate those mole holes. Cheers from Australia

Just few days ago I discovered your channel. I must say I love it! You got a new fan in here!
Real tests in real world. I got several tips that I will use in my future HobbyKing planes.
But I'd like to contribute with a tip from me to you guys in . Pehaps, somebody had commented this before. But this is my 2 cents on the subject
I noticed in several of your posts, more noticeably with nitro planes, that you let your planes verve to the left. That tendency is caused by the engine torque.
In the take off roll you have to compensate that with right rudder. In tail draggers like this one and others, you might need a lot. Mixing aileron to rudder does not help. On contrary! So try this in future. Add right rudder during your take off roll. That could had prevented the Mustang B crash in the other video.
Please don't let me be misunderstood. I do love your videos, and will keep watching the many more you will make.

Well done Capt Blazz what a awesome flying and great job putting it together she is a sweet airplane. Glad that your Flying Club let's rc Sail planes fly there also. Where I live they don't let Sail planes in and it is hard for me to learn to fly but I don't let that get in my way. Capt Robert hope your surgery goes great.
