- A glimpse of our first self drive safari that we undertook in September/ October 2023. Botswana is a country rich in bio-diversity and an amazing array of wildlife, birds and forest. We had an exhilerating experience with getting stuck on deep sand roads and the marveling at the mighty Okavango Delta. Our journey started with Kasane and then onto Ihaha, Muchenje, Linyanti, Savuti, Xakanaxa, Third Bridge, Maun, Planet Baobab, Khumaga, Khama, and then back to Kasane.

What an adventure, Chobe to Sauvete, most difficult track. How long it took to get the help. Where was the best wildlife viewing. Thank you.
We all helped ourselves out of the situation as we were 6 of us. But travellers on the road all stopped to offer help as we did to another group stuck. For us Savuti and Okavango gave us the best viewing. Thanks for watching our video 🙏

@@dilipkakkad2260 the best time to visit Botswana is May to October which is the dry season and the weather is also perfect . It gets a bit warm tending to hot during the day but early morning and night there is a slight nip. May would be colder in the night I guess compared to Sept / Oct. A jacket will suffice and something to cover your head and ears in case in case it gets windy. Mosquitoes is a problem in some places. Just carry a lot of sprays and cream and it will be fine. Can you describe Savute area wildlife and experience. Did you enjoy soth west area of Chobe np. Thank you.
I wish we could have stayed longer in Savuti. The wildlife is diverse and like in the video the experience of elephants and pack of lions together at the waterhole was unique
