Restoring A Heavily Fractured Tooth! With A Post and E-Max Crown

- Patient came to the clinic with a fractured tooth.. patient went from a different dentist. I had to restore the tooth and polish the teeth before we start her orthodontic treatment. The caries of the adjacent teeth was restored along the process.
P.S. the ferrule was not perfect. it didn't achieve the 2mm minimum.. but its the best we have.. and this core is bonded not cemented.. so ferrule will make it stronger. but it can survive without it..

good job , a little advice if you accept , you can use no:12 lancets to clean up excessive dual cure cement in the aproximal or borders, you can use dental floss with the speical knot for the rubber dam fixation for adjacent teeth , thank you for your share Dr. Arkhe.

Almost passed out watching this. Had a root canal about a week ago, had my temporary crown, now I have to wait two weeks for the permanent crown.

@@binksee No we don't use multiple fibres. We drill a cavity with special drills and then use one fitted post.
I'm practicing in America and have never seen that type of post either.

Great results when it comes to the crown! However the patients bite needs correction, cross bite, midline deviation. A lot of work to be done (orthodontics).

My dentist did just remove the temporary. Got the crown, put some cement and fixed it. Just that. No floss in the end. So how was that? Yours is truly meticulous! Hoping to seeing all dentists doing the same. 🤦🏻♂️

Dr Arkhe De Leon, I have bruxism and have grinded my teeth down extensively. Already extracted 3 tooth due to fracture, just found another one that has fractured today and the dentist said that the crack has gone below the gums and is beyond repair/crowning. I have had very good teeth all these years I am really sad that my teeth is going away at such speedy rate. I have seen your UA-cam vids and saw your very good work. I would like to seek your advise if there is a solution to savage my molar. Nothing beats an original.. thank you in advance.
Approximately what is the expected lifespan of such restored tooth with its crown? Or the root may stay indefinitely, and the crown may need to be replaced after some years? Just to give an idea, are we talking about 5, 10 years or maybe more?
