Damn...I have been using the Pedals wrong for...like...ever! Thank you so very much for this information: I will try that right now!!! Works great...left skid marks on my wood floor.
I turned down the volume because after receiving all those misleadingly initially innocent looking prank clips some of my naughty friends had sent in hopes of me being embarassed in front of people, I was half expecting to hear a loud audio clip of anime girl saying, *".... Yamete kudasai!!!"* or something similar, when the last pedal was pressed.
On the right, you have the sustain pedal, which keeps the notes ringing after letting go of the keys. It will sustain all notes pressed while the pedal is down. On the left is the soft pedal. Each note on the piano is played by a hammer striking 3 strings. The soft pedal shifts the mechanism so that it only plays 2 strings for a softer tone. The middle is the sostenuto pedal. It has a similar function to the sustain pedal, but it only sustains notes that were struck at the time the pedal was pressed.
@@Levi_Skardsen Isn't the difference between the middle and the right pedal too little for making them seperate pedals? What are the different usages of them in a song?
@@dr.dorukerdem The middle pedal makes it possible to keep chords and or bass notes sustained while you play a melody with the right hand. If you used the right pedal, every note you press will sustain, which is not always desirable. Jazer Lee has a five-minute video explaining what the pedal functions are, and it makes a lot more sense when you can hear it.
Shoulda used the clutch pedal too😂🤣
I used.
@Lord_Vinheteiro while shifting I meant 👍 the video was a chuckle though. Thanks!
