dude seriously, lol. EN gets so much "Serious" type of lore content, be it fanmade, Ame creating lore with her movies/content or EN Management making comics/creating councils lore.
- The Ancient One having so much trouble with Gura that the only time it had the distinctive upper-hand was after Gawr disappeared and Gura reappeared, goes back into the mythos of H.P. Lovecraft, in which Atlantis has a distinctive connection to the eldritch horrors that exist in dark space. Look it up sometime; very interesting read. Now, mind you, Gura had no real chance as she is a berserker rather than a sage, but the battle forced TAO to reveal its true self for a moment, in order to reform Ina (its puppet/vessel). - Conversely, Kiara and Calli knew that their inherent immortality would work against them, because TAO would take them seriously from the very moment they engaged Ina. - The various themes that play during the battle are references to the girls' various original songs, from Calli's "Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?" to "Reflect." A nice touch, IMO. - Ironically, it's believed that the Takodachis are a sort of limiter or power-leech for Ina, as they do not exist in this timeline (Hololive does not exist, and thus you see no references to them streaming or anything) to support Ina. - Amelia is indeed the true threat because of her space-time artifact, which allows her to traverse the different possible timelines. Even TAO exists within space-time despite it being an eldritch being, so abilities beyond that would inherently pose a significant risk. Myth knew it, TAO knew it. - Sana's symbol flickering is due to her own connection to TAO, as it does exist within her domain, and as an acolyte she would be the method in which TAO survives each attempt of fixing the timeline. It would also be the in-universe reason for Sana needing to leave so early in the good timeline, as she cannot let TAO to gain any more influence than it had accumulated by both hers and Ina's presence. - Time in-universe timestamp at 11:40 is how the estimated age of the known universe is displayed in hour-format (comes out to, if memory serves, 13.7 billion years - correct me if I'm wrong). - By destroying the film, she basically rewinds time all the way to the very beginning, thus resetting the universe. I believe that, although she does experience the various Ames during the time-space jump, that she's not jumping through multiple universes but rather experiencing flashes of moments in history that her previous selves experienced in their own timelines - or else could be her limited, human mind trying to absorb the fantastical things she's seeing and putting them into a context she can actually comprehend (hence why her body reacts so violently after she finally comes to a stop in the Council viewing room. - At 15:42 you can see a distinct, white-lit winged shape being formed in the clouds. Some thought it was Kiara reappearing, but the shape is more distinctly IRyS's - the Hope of a brighter future has been birthed from Ame's actions in the Council observation room (NGL, I thought a YT video being projected onto a screen with an old-school projector was absolute GENIUS) and thus, in the reset timeline, she now has enough of a presence to bring Gura's attention to the Hololive talent agency. As a result, she meets Ina and the others, and they form the EN Gen1: Myth group (which happens in Gura's animated opening "Shark'd"). This was a brilliant short-film, and Ame absolutely LOVES it. I would love to see him do something for Council and TEMPUS.
I mean tbh they were jsut waiting her out since they "Can do this all day" lol....and...its sad but Gura was fighting a puppet, she realistically never stood a chance. 😔 The shadow in the background flickering in the lightning was the true body. (Well....one of them)
True, for the first point. The connection between Atlantis and TAO both represented at High Tide MV. Moona officially confirmed it and tells Ina about it. Part of High Tide MV tells the history of the Moon Goddess which some people say, Moon once was believed as the protector of dark night and Dream. In the MV the Moon Goddess ever battle againts TAO. The fact that the goddess survived means she won the battle and could be the one who sealed this entity in the first place. Even in the MV the moon goddess seems adapted in battle againts enormous entity. It's quite interesting. If in good ending, Irys lead Ame to met the goddess to help her, it simply connected the chain between Ina, Gura, and Moona story.
It would make it a connection with us the good Ending if we have heard just simple 3 words at the end. So desu ne, implying who help in the good Ending.
To be clear, the "good" end is now. Ame rewound time, over & over again, until a version of the universe that does not just end, but thrives, exists. Ame in each timeline gives up her life & tries to start over the universe, continuing to hope for a better ending, so this current version of HoloMyth is the good end, where the good guys have won.
Yah. I think Ame found a timeline where Irys (hope) exists and is a part of council. She is missing from the theatre screen but does exist as seen during the rewind.
Purely human Ina is adorable. It's weird seeing her as she was before AO's influence: No squishy hair, no flaps, no wings, no onion ring, no pointy ears... Makes her feel even more vulnerable in this situation.
I love that in order to fix things, Ame literally tears off the section of the film strip of when things went wrong, so that it can't just replay the same way again the next time - but doing that means that it's _also_ ripping away the future that she currently exists in, which is why she and the Ames before her all went out with the film strip mark burned away on their hands.
I taked that what killed the Ames was an overload of informations of the world, as she saw everything (because of the transition between the world and her eye) But I like your idea too!
Fans have heart. Corporations do not. All the money in the world can't replicate heart. Even something that's low quality with zero budget will still shine as long as there is heart at its core. I've seen much lower quality hololive fanimations. But I enjoy them nonetheless because I can feel the heart and love and soul seeping through their creations.
This video was incredible! I loved the attention to details, like how Sana's symbol is the only one glitching among the Council ones, and the quality of it overall: animation, pacing, coreography... EVERYTHING! Also, it's crazy to think that, after reality level powerhouses like Calli and Kiara, it's the pure and unhinged ferocity of Gura going berserk that actually goes closer to annihilate Ina... truly the Apex Predator!
Irys descended into the rewound universe, and when the time came... Whispered in Gura's ear to encourage her to Join HoloLive. All the Myth girls joined, and we have the Good Ending we're living right now.
Years later from when the fully animation dropped, i just want to reflect on Myth. I don’t think any vtuber group was as impactful as them. I have been watching since 2019 personally, and seeing vtubers grow from this niche little community into what is now as been incredible. I vividly remember the end of 2019 and thinking that Vtubers like Fubuki and Pekora were really starting to grow fast. I told everyone i knew that Vtubers are the next thing that will be viral and that there is a perfect gap in streaming and other media for them. Of course, covid rolled around, gen 4 and then gen 5 came out, and i was amazed that each wave had 100k subs at debut. By this point Fubuki was maybe nearing 1 million if that. Covid keeps people home, clips of hololive start going viral, en vtubers like Ironmouse start gaining a lot of traction, and the Myth debuted. Holy shit the level of hype and fervor around Myth's debut was special. It was quite literally the perfect storm. The perfect 5 to debut first, the perfect time when the hype and vitality of vtubers was at it's peak, and the perfect environment in the community for it to be received well. And they nailed it. Each member unique and full of personality. Calli being a real musician to help the girls, Kiara being the extrovert to bring everyone, and Ame with insane tech skills. The last one, especially, ik they've talked about it a bit, but Ame being technically proficient enough to be tech support while also being creative enough to innovate was vital to how smoothly it all went down. Yeah the EN curse was inevitable, but if Myth had failed, if they had crash and burned, idk if we have this big of a vtuber community in english speaking countries. It at the very least doesn't have such an explosive boost of popularity
The good ending happened i think because this time, when ame(#1336) reset the world.. Hope has descended.. and new ame in the good timeline was our ame(#1337).. mann this lore games are top notch
I don't think the bodies are rotting, in the Hall of Creation. There's 13.7 billion years between the different Ames rewinding the universe. Nothing there is rotting. No decay can exist there..
Notice how many hours the video has???? That's about 13.7 billion years in hours, Ame Burnt the whole film, basically erasing the timeline completely then the time goes forward from the big bang onward.
I am just kidding when I said "Now" and I didn't think you will upload this fast 😂 btw Tier your heart rate shows you are excited 😆 also if you have no clue 7:00 AO abandoned Ina and left her body and thus making Ina a normal human, she cannot do anything without her power
I like the part when the council symbols are shown and only Sana's is glitching since in the lore Ina and Sana bot had a connection with the ancient ones. Also, I would love to see a bit more fo council after ame destroys the tape. Like Kronii slashing ame as she destroys the tape, a frame of sana remaking universe, or whatever. Also I fucking cried when human Ina (no flaps, no AO influence whatsoever) cries and says "I'm sorry" that's some sad shit.
My interpretation is that Ame didn't rewind the timeline, (that would have been turning back the reel) she destroyed it. Which cut off that timeline entirely, giving another world a chance to have a different ending.
Also the song 'Oddloop' animation depicts similarities of the lore of this. Where Ame keeps rewinding time again and again, until Kroni herself 'Continues' Ame and probably helped her achieving the 'good ending' with the help of IRyS.
I like to think that Ame messed so many timelines trying to save everyone that Kronii took notice and since she got bored of doing the same loop she then decided to "influence/guide her" to a good ending. And I like to think that Irys is the one that gives Ame the motivation to continue jumping even if Kronii keeps coming after her since "there is still hope" that Ame can get the good ending.
Anyway, I also just watched this a few hours ago. Personally I think Ame is wrong about a new timeline being created cuz from what we see, it's just the same timeline being reversed, so it's still the same gura, calli, etc. The only new thing being created is Ame's body but still the same soul.
Agreed. From Ame's perspective it would seem like a different timeline because our minds are limited to what we can personally see and experience, and from her perspective multiple Ames would have to come from multiple universes. However, from the position of the Council, its just a single timeline (can you imagine Kronii trying to keep 150 quadrillion timelines stable? XD) that is continuing to be reset until the timeline in which YAGOO forms Cover and Gura is able to find the poster. In fact, it's likely that Ame's hope that she can find the right timeline that triggers IRyS to appear to Gura.
yes but for all intents and purposes she isn't saving them. It's equivalent to 'saving' a friend from death by rewinding time to before it. All you have done is allowed them to die again. And thats IF you rewind time. What Ame did wasn't rewind time. She tore out the film. Which is why the Universe and thus the 'video' restarted. To do so in the hope that in starting over a different outcome occurs but what makes this the 'bad end' is that the other dead Ame are proof of how many times that has failed so far.
Dang, never saw the Irys thing before. I swear I get something new pointed out every time I watch it! Did you see how of the council's symbols Sana's was flickering? Kind of a cool inclusion, if not a bit sad.
Can you please react to Holowen Episode 1 Origin on the Official Hololive English Channel it came out yesterday and it is a new project that Fauna wrote it and the voice acting was amazing especially Gura
Stream link in description if you want to watch in better quality!

watch nxt the holoweEN :) episode 1 the origin on the holoEN official YT :)
fauna wrote the story on that
holomyth fans are eating good with all this content lately tbh

That was an interesting fanfic of lore there! loved it!
I can picture Ame doing a watchalong with this and saying, "Guys, is this real?"
@@NousagiCaptain the argument could be made that gura fought well enough she was able to get through to ina despite TAO
To be clear, the "good" end is now.

That's what I thought too. Just those minor details make her look so different.
It felt weird seeing it but I love human Ina she's super cute!!
That usage of Watson's bgm as everything restarts never fails to give me goosebumps!
The BGM for this short film was amazing!

We are in an age when fans are making better content than major corporations. 💪
LMAO can't say I disagree with that
Fans have heart.
I love Ame's arranged 'Papaya song' plays in the final scene
YEAH it had a marvel feel with the orchestra! lol
I like how all this takes place the day after Myths 2 Year Anniversary.
idk if it was intentional but perfect timing!
Gura and Ina dying was soooo sad, omg.
ngl I almost teared up lol
This video was incredible! I loved the attention to details, like how Sana's symbol is the only one glitching among the Council ones, and the quality of it overall: animation, pacing, coreography... EVERYTHING!

This animation really showed how strong Gura can be!
I love how as IRyS was descending she basically got yeeted out of existence , lol
lol ikr
In every timeline, this timeline is the best timeline we have
We live in the good ending
Should also check the HoloweEN series GURA'S voice acting in that was incredible
just finished filming my 3 part reaction to it!
The way that part of violet plays right before ina and gura get obliterated makes me tear up every time
the BGM for this was so good
Irys descended into the rewound universe, and when the time came... Whispered in Gura's ear to encourage her to Join HoloLive. All the Myth girls joined, and we have the Good Ending we're living right now.

attention to detail, the council logo's with space flickering o7
yeah the little detail he put into this is amazing!
hope gives people the courage to restart. chaos makes things turn out different.
I hope that you saw the colored art of Ina crying. It is amazing.
I like that in this red gura is feral as hell and probably scares the crap out of gura
Now its hit hard 😢😭
The hope actualy descended but little too late
ah...
The good ending happened i think because this time, when ame(#1336) reset the world.. Hope has descended.. and new ame in the good timeline was our ame(#1337).. mann this lore games are top notch
Ohhh good point with the Hope thing! I agree!
Cover Corp should let Myth voice act this.
Awesome project. Calli and Kiara transforming is still my favorite part. Immediate goosebumps.
YEAH I remember watching that for the first time and getting a bunch of goosebumps!
People WILL pick Myth's bad ending apart, trying to analyze every single little detail. Mazu made a great story.
The little details and how much in depth this short film is crazy!
Gura respeccing from support caster to taijutsu master mid-fight.
Entire This Animation was Fricking Epic..
RIGHT it felt like a whole marvel movie lol
Imagine the smell in the projector room full of corpses and Travel sick from each ame
I don't think the bodies are rotting, in the Hall of Creation. There's 13.7 billion years between the different Ames rewinding the universe. Nothing there is rotting. No decay can exist there..
oh god.. I didn't even think about that
After Ame sacrificed herself, the world restarted and our universe was created.
i really love Mezumaru animation and i hope he make the good ending. and i got distracted by your adorable maid outfit XD
I loved the animation too and haha thank you!!
Just once I wish I could watch this video without crying 😭
So cute, i love the costume
haha thank you!!
Notice how many hours the video has???? That's about 13.7 billion years in hours, Ame Burnt the whole film, basically erasing the timeline completely then the time goes forward from the big bang onward.
Thank you for converting the minutes! I was wondering how much it exactly was!
You look so cute on that maid outfit. Wish I could hear you say the "What do you like?" line🥺😆
I was going to on stream but I got embarrassed LOL but thank you!!❤
Kiara expressed interest in doing a voiceover. Hopefully they all can do it
I am just kidding when I said "Now" and I didn't think you will upload this fast 😂 btw Tier your heart rate shows you are excited 😆 also if you have no clue 7:00 AO abandoned Ina and left her body and thus making Ina a normal human, she cannot do anything without her power

@@Tierwha very nice then

What's sadder...she didn't even have the chance to truly say she was sorry as TAO killed her mid sentence
yeah ngl I tried not to show it but i almost teared up when Ina said "I'm sorry" lol
Ame reset the entire universe with that rip (that's what i got from the animation).
yeah she tore that universe apart and created a whole new one
Cute maid outfit
thank you!!❤❤
My interpretation is that Ame didn't rewind the timeline, (that would have been turning back the reel) she destroyed it. Which cut off that timeline entirely, giving another world a chance to have a different ending.
I see it the same way too!
I saw IRyS at 10:45 of the video..... 😊
yeah! great detail
Maidwha! O.O
hehe
I got that exact costume for Halloween. The only difference is I'm 5"11, 175lbs and male lol.
LOL hey I bet you rocked the maid outfit regardless
Thanks~!!
thank you for watching!

Anyway, I also just watched this a few hours ago. Personally I think Ame is wrong about a new timeline being created cuz from what we see, it's just the same timeline being reversed, so it's still the same gura, calli, etc. The only new thing being created is Ame's body but still the same soul.

I mean this Ame Variant did the right thing cuz you could see IRyS descending from the sky
yes but for all intents and purposes she isn't saving them. It's equivalent to 'saving' a friend from death by rewinding time to before it. All you have done is allowed them to die again. And thats IF you rewind time.

The point is that, each Retry creates a new chance, no matter how many times she has to restart the universe, she's going to try "one more time".
It’s like this whole 1.5 year long project has been a giant love letter not only to all of Myth, but especially to Ameway.
Dang, never saw the Irys thing before. I swear I get something new pointed out every time I watch it! Did you see how of the council's symbols Sana's was flickering? Kind of a cool inclusion, if not a bit sad.
