Thanks again for down to the root explanation. This has been one of the best and thorough explanation I have seen. One question... Do you take the readings (10 readings from your previous video) from different points on the surface or do you concentrate the readings around the center of the watch glass? I am using your knowledge and explanation to find the radius of curvature of my primary mirror of my telescope and from that calculate focal length. Really appreciate this down to the bones explanation. Excellent video
This Spherometer is not a physics lab device, it's mechanical metrology lab device used for calculation of radius of spherical dome (sector) which you are calling it as curvature.
Your explanation is very easy to understand.

Happy to help..
How is that AO in the 2D sphere = AO in Equi. Δ, Do we have to use projection concept for understanding this equality?
Thank you mam very much
Most welcome 😊
Thank you mam for your beautiful explain 🙏😊
Keep watching. Thank you

Mam whether the spherometer's middle leg should be at the centre of the curved surface or at random
Does not matter. The answer will not vary.
Thank u so much.
Thank you too
Madam can you please explain how cos 30 has came ???
Because it forms a equilateral triangle generally. so half of the angle is 30 degree.
Mam
Mam why there is no error in spheromoter?
Yes there can be error in spherometer like back-lash error.
Please mam
Mam u r so sweet 💖💖😘😘😘
Thanks a lot.
