This video was very helpful and for your issue with sliding. I added 3M stop skid tape on both sides of the Ramp/Stops and that has made the dolly secure. I was able to walk my Harley up on the dolly with little to no effort. Thanks

I bought one of these three years ago and only now am I putting it together. I used your video as instructions because I can't find the instruction manual. LOL. The way I plan to remedy the roll away bug is drill a center hole and permanently anchor it on a pivot in the floor. I park my bike in the house and that's the only use for that room. Ride in, park, pivot, ride out. :) Thanks for the video instructions.

OMG! I wished I had viewed your video prior to trying to load my bike. I had the exact same issue and ended up laying the bike on it's side. Pulled a Hammy trying to hold up my Street Glide by myself while the bike was half on the dolly but it moved. They need to add additional wheel brakes. It can be dangerous. Thanks for the video.

The little ramp at both ends is designed to lift the dolly up off the wheels so it doesn't move when you ride onto it. Put the handle down on both ends then try driving up onto it.

@@cbonz7734 I believe the problem is a slippery floor. Maybe try something to rest grips of the ramp on. Maybe those adhesive tread gripper things (tape)at HarborFreight that are used on steps or ramps!?

The design is for you to flip the stops in both ends so it lifts the 4 wheels off the ground. That should allow the weight of the whole dolly to stay in place by the friction. Then you flip the levers again to drop it back on the wheels and roll it away. I hope that is how it works. Still waiting for mine to come in.

Great job on the video. Would like to see a version that would have a wheel choke that could keep it locked in better.

It does. But big bikes like this are a bit long for it. There is a rod for each end of the dolly. I only use the front one. And I leave the bike 1st gear.

Great video my friend. I just put mine together after watching you. Unfortunately my bike is a tad too long, and the kick stand goes out too far. Guess I’ll be selling it on Craig’s List. I have a 2007 Yamaha V Star 1300.

You didn't have the front skidplate/stopper down - that's why it slid out

  • @dwaynemorris2223

you have to have the front swing arm down also for it to not move. Haven't had any problems with my 16 ultra classic on it.

At 64, the 2016 103 FLD gives me weight issues if I tip the bike over too much with the bar turned to the left. I have a 08 SP1200L that I can
pick up off the ground and stand it up, and because of the weight, She is easy...…….. I have a 10 x 16 foot shed, and getting the two bikes
in is a pain. I saw a video where a dolly bearing that was good for 1K pds and only 12 bucks, would be my best bet? two berrings and
a 16' 2 x 10 cut in half and a few nuts and bolts wont cost 160 bucks as two of Your HF dolly. I know in your case, You wanted to
move it over against the garage wall, but I can drive in either bike at an angle and do a 180 and park it. I would like to know your thoughts
and I liked the video, well done !

    • @harleynut1961

These do need some mods , I think the kickstand moving could be fixed by adding 2x4 to front and back of kickstand, once bike is parked you have your kickstand location.

Your bike moved on the stand when you demo'd pushing it around at 13:55. That could ruin your day. Ever cause a problem? $90 about 5 years ago. Now it's $130. Let's go Brandon!
