- Carousel at Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan
Juggled a bit trying to get a view of the upper level tilted images.
Note the unique "characters" on the carousel (I mean the carousel parts, not so much the people, but...)
They also have this Carousel at Coolidge Park. Except the Band Organ is a Stinson and also, It stays on in-between rides (like most carousel organs do in amusement park, The only time band organ is turned off is during closing time).
Songs are "Colonel Bogey" and "Take out to the Ballgame"
I could definitely use a good Carousel ride along with the music sounds like a lot of fun . I think it would be a lovely and fun time of my life.
The children’s playground in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park has a beautiful Hershall Spellman Carousel with a German Bruder band organ
jamie's camp song and take me out to the ballgame
Nice job on the video.
Thank you!
The band organ here is a Wurlitzer 153.
Incorrect. It's an Artizan C altered to play Wurlitzer 150 rolls and it has a reproduction Wurlitzer 153 facade on it.
You could call it a Wurlitzan. There's quite a few Wurlitzer-Artizan Hybrids out there and this is definetely the most Artizan one around. The Most Wurlitzer Wurlitzan around is at Idlewild Park.
Don't forget Knoebels. The S&G (Stein & Goldstein) Merry-Go-Round has a Bruder 79 / Artizan A2 band organ that plays Wurlitzer 150 rolls.
@@CBF1 You're a teacher or a museum owner..
@@peihanyu2610 Band organ addict, that's what I am. I am the owner of a private museum of 35 cuckoo clocks, however. 31 are boxed up in storage right now.
desnort, Do you know Take Me Out Of The Ballgame?
But I do know the organ?
The band organ is Wurlitzer 153.
@@BuddyBoy600alt Like CF@1 said before, it's not. Its an Artizan C converted to play Wurlitzer 150 rolls.
By the way, the tunes are
"Colonel Bogey", "Take Me Out To The Ballgame", 14501: Arr. David Stumpf.
