A Simple "H" shaped agitator makes the FA Tumbler lite, and absolutely awesome tumbler. A Dollar Store Poly Cutting board (I bought 5 b/c bending to fit in the tumbler can snap them. - 3/4" - 1" wide legs and cross bar. -Cut with a fine tooth jig saw (20TPI blade) hold firm, if it starts vibrating hard, you will snap the legs of the H. Once cut out, heat crossbar of H with a hair dryer til it is more bendable. Carefully! this is where I snapped the first 3 I made. With the agitator in place, tumbler will clean 20-300 cases at a time without problem.
I just cut 6 pieces of plastic coat hangers (1/4" round) to lay in each crease of the jug. Will be hot gluing them in place right after I scratch the inside up real good. Then I will try adding layers of plasti-dip or some type of rubber coating for porches/decks. This should make the cases tumble quietly.
My Frankfort Arsenal Tumbler Lite leaked like a sivv the first time. I vasolined the O ring seal, and ran it over night empty, and since it has not leaked a drop.
My process (rifle brass) using Frankfurts tumbler and dryer after range day. 2 tubs saves time. 1. Dirty brass only in tub dish soap, cap of simple green only, no media. 30 minutes to HR. This tub is my non media tub. 2. Dry cases. 3.Lubricate 4. Decap,Size, and trim. 5. Wash again, stainless media, soap, lemmie shine, in TAP HOT water. This tub is my media tub. 6. Dry Results primer pockets are SPOTLESS. Brass looks factory new. If you are going to roll size brass DO NOT LUBRICATE CASES until AFTER roll sizing!!
@@rogueldr642smiythe9 Dillon doesn't make a wet tumbling solution so kind of irrelevant point. RCBS only makes a large tumbler and really no different than the large Frankfort tumbler.
At a minimum, decap and swage before you tumble. If the brass is fairly clean (no mud or dirt caking), go ahead and full length size then clean to remove the sizing lubricant and pocket dirt.
To add a rubberized coating to the Tumbler Lite version. Sand the inside of the tumbler container to rough up the inside so the coating will have something to grip and bond with the plastic. Place the tumbler on the base WITHOUT the lid and turn the machine on and let it run. Using a spray can of a rubberized spray on coating. Do the back first and then make you way to the front in light coats. You'll need to do multiple layers to build up the thickness you want. Now just leave the unit running until is is completely dry. You'll want it to be fairly thick, but thin enough that you can still insert the clear plastic cover and lid. If the final thickness is too thin or you don't rough up the inside of the plastic it will start separating from the plastic after a handful of uses. You're Welcome! :) Also the magnet from Frankford Arsenal is a piece of trash. It's too weak to be effective.

Forgot to tell them they should deprime the cases first for best clean in the primer pocket holes. Dry media tumblers clog up the flash hole

Good to know I have the larger one and it leaks like crazy
You need to have an agitation bar inside or the media jus slides down and doesn’t tumble,
How can I kill a primer in a hand gun case. I have case when fired the primers are backing out and jamming my single action gun
Man.. Good on you for being a complete shill for all these companies.. I'm totally jelly.. You never have to pay for the cool stuff anymore..

Good grief, he's got an airplane hangar now?? So these "cookie sheets", are they special ballistic cookie sheets?
I have a question... Can I use this Rotary tumbler like a ball mill for make black powder?
Frankford Arsenal makes junk. RCBS builds the BEST of everything.
Dillon has entered the chat: Come again???

If you want a huge leaky mess making machine this is the tool for you. Wish I never bought one.

Where did you get those cool black sifting/separator trays? Can’t find them on your website.
Lyman Rotary Case Cleaning Sifter Set
Where did you get the separator, I have checked the internet for two hours now, your help would be appreciated
Did you ever find the separater?
Where did you get that stand for the M-Press?
Update: I got my stand from Inline Fabrication
They don’t seem to reply
Good video. just getting into reloading, how much pounds of pins do i need to do 100, 6.5 creed in a mini fa tumbeier
I use the entire bag supplied. Buy some extra store on a shelf.
Are there ever any issues with the metal media getting stuck in the flash hole?
The pins get into everything. They aren't necessary.

@John Beige I’ve been looking and they seem to be sold out everywhere.

I just picked one up from a Cabela's in CT. They had 4 or so on the shelf.

If only they would do something about the drum, a rubber liner like the larger version of even mold in some ribs.
Just like brass, I too am easily agitated when I’m thrown in a drum with steel pins
Over Time when storing ammo for a few years, does the WET cleaning not build up corrosion on the cases????
Let the brass dry after cleaning, should be fine.
