8 year old Boxer - reactivity. Please see description.

Some more work with Levi. He's an older gentleman now, and with humans as well.as dogs, as we get older, we tend to want to meet less new people, are settled in our ways and enjoy our own space and time. He is a but growly when unknown dogs try to say hello to him so we are teaching him that they're just saying hello, he can attend to his human instead and she'll move him away and give him more space.
What's been interesting working with Levi is that it's not a fear based behaviour, he's super cool if dogs leave him be, he just wants some space. I think we all get like that at least sometimes in our lives.
We are working on movement around other dogs and reorientating towards his human. Things to consider when working through this
1. Human staying still and dog moving
2. Human moving and dog moving
3. Human still, dog moving closer to and further away from the other dog
4. Facing the other dog, turning away from the other dog
5. Moving laterally to the other dog.
There are likely a few more buy you see the point. We combine the above parameters, as and when needed; making things more challenging under careful scrutiny, easing off when he needs a break.
