Black box sitting next to the USR-330 modem... Nice to see an old destroyer main computer going...I believe the machine on the floor in the lower right was the motor-generator for the 400Hz AC needed to run the computer.
douro20 yeah I’m not sure of the provenance for the blue box. I want one of those black lump USR modems so badly. Yeah, you’re right- that’s the motor-generator unit that allows the univac to run.
what kind of ibm is that in the 420 part of the video? i remember those 8" drives and a computer similar to that with type setting for graphic printing in the 80's. My dad was a cool mofo back then.
Hey; Do you know of anyone who repairs vintage computer equipment? I have several Qualstar's that need repair and an Overland Data portable 9 track as well.
Great video! Nice relaxed stroll through the exhibits.
Great! It takes way longer than 23 minutes to watch tho' I kept pausing to read all the labels :). Good job.

That's an IBM 5110. The little box above is the computer, the big box below is the storage system.
Did you get busted at the very end? It sounded like someone said "cameras off" then the video ended.... 😳
