Buckeye fan here. great game, great effort by Ducks. we are up 31 to 29 with 6 min left and we give up 74 yards and the game winning FG. no sacks, no hurries, no tipped balls. Crappy defense when it mattered. Ducks got it done. (angry Sunday)

Some Buckeye fan sitting behind me kept yelling "welcome to The Big 10, y'all playin' JV football against a 'real' Big 10 team". I just turned and laughed in his face, then ignored him until the clock went to Zero,l and I gave him a big thumbs-up and said "welcome to Autzen Stadium"

@@benschulz2166 obviously , The Ohio State University has a great tradition. Amazing history from Woody, Tressel, , Meyer up to present. They do have some new teams to reckon with, and without the 3 weeks a bowl game affords to prepare, it's a new and interesting scenario playing less familiar opponents. First league meeting was epic, as was the horseshoe game of 2 years ago.

Great game Coach! The Buckeyes played as good of a game(minus the last 30 secs) as any team in college football and upto every bit of their potential. The Ducks shot themselves in the (web) foot for at least 17 pts(the unsportsmanlike conduct for 4, the missed FG for 3, the missed PaT's and the 4th and goal with a wide open Tez Johnson for the last 7), but still managed to win the game. If this Ducks team can figure out a way to play up to their potential as the Buckeyes did, then the National Championship Trophy will be heading to Eugene.
Enjoy this duck fans, we have come a long way with this program. Dan is our guy and he will bring us to the promised land

Perfectly coached game on both offense and defense....And special teams. That onside kick was nasty!!!
Refs interception no call was awful. The majority of the Ohio folks seemed like rational football fans.
No more awful than his offensive pass interference call. Especially, when prior to that “push off”, he was getting dry-humped by that defender…hence why he had to push off. Now, which of those awful calls would you rather have? The one that kept you from kicking a winning field goal, or a 1st quarter pick? If I was a Duck fan, who just one by 1pt under those circumstances, I’d just be happy you won and wouldn’t say a word. You notice your coach didn’t attempt to got there, did he? And, that’s saying nothing of spitting on opponents. The Big 10 already has a classless, shameless, corrupt, work-release program with UM. We don’t need another. 99% of Buckeye fans loved having Oregon as part of the Big 10, and they have nothing but respect for Oregons team. Don’t ruin it by acting like UM fans.

If you’re whining about it after a win, I can’t imagine how you’d sound after a loss. One of the smartest things I heard about that call was from an Oregon fan, who said, “That OPI call was BS, but they also missed the pick in the 1st quarter, so both teams got screwed at some point”…and they were right. The refs missed the pick, and completely botched the OPI (which was defensive holding prior to the OPI). And, Btw…there was at least 1sec left on the clock when the QB slid, at the end of the game, as well. The refs didn’t see it that way, it is what it is. OSU never shouldn’t let it come down to one play…..period. Home team almost always get’s those breaks. Take the win and shut the f**k up. OH!….and, stay out of voting booths this election, as well.
Joey Harrington came into my work a few years ago (the off-season when Lanning was hired) and I asked him if he thought Lanning had the sauce. He was pretty adamant that Lanning wasn't just the right hire, but that he was the guy to take us to the next level. Looks like his intuition was correct. Imagine that...

Ohio state fans were crushed at Autzen last night. Oregon ran for more yardage, mostly between the tackles.
As butthurt as you can be after a “1pt blowout”, anyway. We were most upset that for $20million Ryan Day can’t even get our players to spit on opponents. After all, how much coaching can that possibly take. Next time we meet maybe Oregon can show us their convicted pedophiles to add to that scheme. Works for UM, anyway. If you’re going go to type comments with your other hand working your sprout, perhaps wait until you win by 40yrs, instead of 1pt. At least in that case, you wouldn’t be making the rest of the Oregon fans look like Neanderthals in the lowest class of society. 1pt isn’t worth that kind of embarrassment.
