Having a seizure. Talk calm, soft, pet. & don’t hold or restrict movement. When it passes still keep calm & quiet. Could take up to an hour to recover completely. May also be very thirsty, or not thirsty or hungry for many hours & usually wants to sleep after.
Dogs are like humans they have seizures and everything but they can still hear aswell, i find it amazing how alike we can be and knowing they know that we love them just as much as they love us
But humans can't hear during their seizures, I have epilepsy but don't hear during my grand mal seizures, which is like what the dog I happening, I don't remember them at all which is normal, I'll just be standing there then feel like I'm being electrocuted for a second then I wake up on a stretcher with people in an ambulance asking me who the president is, stuff like that is usually what happens, people say I was on the ground seizing but I have no memory of it ever, and my doctor says that's normal, because during a seizure there's not much oxygen to the brain so we don't actually know what's going on during a seizure, not conscious
For generalized seizures the person is completely unaware of what's going on, but the brain is still absorbing stimulus so when we 'come to' our brains have to reboot and it's an incredibly frustrating, stressful, and can even be scary/violent situation. Dogs are similar. They can't hear during a grandmal

My standard pregnant poodle had a seizure at the doorway to the groomer. The stressor. My male had happily walked in an was not at her side. It took me 10 seconds to realize what was happening
My buddy Diesel was the sweetest boy. He started having seizures the last few months of his life and I would always comfort him and talk calmly no matter how stressed I was. I would place a rolled up towel just enough in his mouth where he wouldn’t bite his tongue. He would potty all over himself and after I’d get him clean, he’d be having another seizure. Rest In Peace, old friend.
Same thing with my old puppers.. will never forget her. Nobody understands how stressful a situation like that is to be in, especially having to go through it almost every night. Im sorry for your loss and you've gotten to heal from it
My God. Looks like you panicked. In this situation, grab him and say it's okay to him in a calm voice. Talk to him. Tell him that he's okay and that you're right there with him. Rub his back while holding him. After he finished his seizure just hold him for a bit, just in case he has another. Makes sure to be prepared just in case he throws up. Keep comfort for him so that he knows you were actually there. Poor baby. Kiss him and tell him u love him❤
Just like when people have seizures there is not much to be done. You stayinging calm is the most important part. Speak gently and comforting and be there when its over.

This is known as a dog seizure, and in order to calm the dog down, it is by talking or comforting the dog so that it will calm down and the seizure will go away.
My boy Atlas has epilepsy. His seizures aren’t as severe but can last a few minutes. If he has any really bad ones or if they go on too long I can’t give him a squirt of diazepam into his butt. He doesn’t ever really need it though. It used to be very scary but we are used to it now. He doesn’t seem to care either. The moment it’s over he returns straight back to wanting to run around and play.

@@Xx-Chalice-xXhow would bringing him to the vet prevent the seizure🤨. You are the stupid one for even thinking that. A seizure happens in an instant and doesn’t last long. By the time he even realizes what is happened the damage was already done. Obviously the vet is needed. But it’s nothing about the owner, it’s scientific and there are truths to it. It’s not linear like you think
So sorry your dog has to go through this it's very hard. I worked with disabled people some of them had seizures so I already knew what to do when my dog started having seizures he was about 15 years old when he passed away. Then I had another dog started having them he had a brain tumor. He was only 6 years old when he passed. I miss them both so bad. I hope and pray your dog gets better!
I lost my 11 year old Maltese, Jake, about a year ago. He was basically healthy with no history of seizures. It was the middle of the night and I was asleep on the sofa. I woke to the sound of him bumping the floor violently shaking. He had come to me, I’m sure, because he realized something was wrong. It scared me so bad. He wet himself and was violently shaking, head thrown back, just like this poor baby in the video. After he seemed to calm down, I wrapped him in a blanket, picked him up and held him close to me. He actually cried (in the way dogs do) for a little while but wasn’t the same after that. I took him to my vet the next morning. He told me the seizure caused brain damage. I had to let Jake go because I could see he was suffering. And I swear, I knew he was scared, kinda in shock. I believe all dogs go to heaven and I’ll see him again one day. It still hurts though and I’m crying just writing this. My Maltipoo Chloe and I sure do miss him. ❤️
It can be tough but in situations like this you want to stay calm. They can still hear you, and want to assure you they are fine. But they just simply can’t. Best thing to do is to stay calm assure them you’re there.
Hope hes fine now. when my Rollo had seizures I stayed calm and talked gently to him. The atmospheric pressure effected him, over walking stress full situations as well. He only had them for 2 years.

My cat started having seizures last year and kept having them every day for a year until the vets finally decided to suggest that it was time to let him go. Always be calm and let your animal know they’re okay. Try not to touch them during an active seizure because it could overstimulate or upset them and make the panic worse. All seizures alter the brain but seizures that last over a minutes start to cause brain damage. After a year of my boy having seizures he was no longer the same cat.. I hated watching him lose his love of life.
As someone that suffers from epilepsy and had the pleasure of wearing helmet through most of Kindergarten, this just breaks my heart. I know first hand how scary it is to be on the afflicted end. We really need your energy and voice to be calming.

Yes. I know it is easy to freak out seeing it happen (especially first time) but you need to he calm and sit with him and talk to him very quietly, soothing and loving and stroke him very lightly and talk to him telling him you are there and love him. Soothing calmly.

@AceThaDon looks like they were playing, and as soon as he realized something was wrong, he eventually barked with the fact that something is indeed wrong.
I have a very gentle and cute cat, Anfisa, with epilepsy, repeating nearly in several months, but otherwise healthy. Also, train it to restrain itself during fits. My cat once, feeling nearing of a fit, latched herself with claws to sofa's side, closed shut her mouth, and quickly soldiered herself through fit with no pain or flailing or vomiting or pssing at all. As it start flailing, gently prick it into its pawpads with burnt finger-sharpened match, and it will stop. During fits, I'm doing so with my cat. Also, use НΑSН on it, if seizures are too heavy. It will just calm any seizures, and slow train pet to meditate, by remembering experience, instead to having a fit, and seizures would solve. It helped several pets down in comments to become alive, healthy, and seizure-free.
I care about you and your dog. I have epilepsy myself and seeing it happen to anyone makes me so sad for y'all. It hurts a lot but having someone who cares there to hold you ,and to notice someone cares it really helps more than anyone could ever know ❤🫂 May God bless you and your sweet dog and give comfort for you both and peace amongst you both.
This happened to my Nonna in 2019 when we were on our way to Philadelphia. We went to the hospital in Chester County. Once we got back, my Aunt Emma came from New York City to watch my Nonna. She was fine afterward.
I work at an Emergency animal hospital. Do NOT handle your dogs during or right after a seizure! They need to come out of it on their own. Place fans around them and try to cool them down as best as you can (you can also put ice cubes in a bag and apply it to their feet). They overheat easily during a seizure. If the seizure lasts more than 5 minutes, or there is more than one in 24 hours, see a veterinarian immediately.
My dog used to have seizures too. The best thing to do is stay calm and comfort them through it. It's a scary experience for them too especially as they don't understand. Also side note take special care of your dogs in water. Make sure they are being watched while in lakes etc. And make sure someone is there who would be able to carry them in case they have a seizure
Speak calmly and gently to your dog! If he hears the panic in your voice, he'll panic too. Just be there, pet him and tell him he's ok. That's all you can do during those moments.
@@bobb.6393actually it's not good touching them when they're going through this because touching the body stresses the muscles even more and is hurting them.
every dog might be different, but most of the time it is good to not pet the dog whilst it’s having a seizure, because their brains are already over stimulated we don’t need to add more to it, for my dog it will actually increase the time she’s having the seizure. But like I said every dog is different, but just because it comforts you doesn’t mean it benefits your dog!
@@willmalay5515my dog used to have seizures all the time till she was given medication which seems to suppress it I would definitely pet your dog as it’s going through an episode as that is what the vet recommended
Actually during a seizure whether I'm a dog or human.. They hear nothing. So even if you get upset & are verbal with your emotions, they don't hear anything or feel your touch. I'm not sure about after with animals. But with humans, after the seizure has passed, most of the time, they are worn out and spend the rest of the day on their butts. Oh and memory loss. They spend a good few minutes or longer trying to figure out who's who & what happened.
My dog has seizures random times during the months, sometimes up to 9 times each year. We don’t know what causes them, but the funny thing is he doesent even know when he’s having one and he crawls around to us after he has them. Sometimes he has them without us even knowing. But yes, be calm when this happens. It can happen to anyone anytime.
When I was young, maybe 11-12 I was playing with our Doberman Woode when he suddenly stopped, sat, and looked at me tilting his head with sad eyes before having a mild seizure. I didn’t know it was a seizure at the time but my only response was to hold him and tell him it was ok… sure enough the seconds passed and he was fine. looking back I believe Woode somehow knew what was happening and had the strength to restrain himself so that I wouldn’t be scared. badass dog he was.
Having experienced this with dogs and people its not an easy thing to watch and there is not much you can do except make sure they cant hurt themselves, make sure they cant choke and basically sit with them untill they rally around. When coming around they will be extremely confused , very tired and possibly some minor aches and pains like sore muscles due to tension and perhaps bit their tongue 😢😢
are you kidding me? the other dog took advantage of the situation and tried to suck its dick..probably would have f*cked it up the a** if the owner didn't shoo it away
my dog kaiser passed away last year due to multible medical problems he would have seizures almost every other day sometimes multiple a day and the final one he had he bit his tounge very bad blood everywhere and a huge hole in his tounge he couldve lived longer but he would live in pain and suffering and all we wanted was for him to have a normal life he was blind for 95% of his life fly high kaiser
@Cilo2Crazy Ita hard to lose a dog.. my dog waited whole day for me to come home.. once i reached she just sat next to me asked for a scratches... slowly she died... its been 3 years still am crying for her..
Most likely an epileptic seizure but you need to get the dog to a veterinary to get a brain scan because it could also be a tumor. It's also possible it could be caused by something the dog ingested as well. By far the most common reason dogs have seizures is epilepsy and they can start with no prior history of them. I'm an epileptic myself and it's a terrifying thing for both parties but hang in there and comfort the dog. If it is epilepsy over time you will be able to detect trigger signs that will tell you that a seizure is upcoming. When that happens move the dog to an area where there's nothing around them that they can bump into or harm themselves. Good luck!
@@Paranormal3activityhe probably survived. We had a dog that had seizures of varying severities and we got her on some medications and had emergency butt injection for if a big one hit and when she was older one did because i walked through the living room unusually randomly just to look around which was the weird part because i thought i heard a noise from in my room and when i was in the living room listening quietly i heard struggling noises behind the couch so i went to look and there she was and i wasnt sure how long it had been so i waited for about 30 seconds as i got some help and my family is involved in animal surguries rescues etc so it wasnt our first time around the block. we decided to use the emergency butt meds because we werent sure how long it had been and it appeared to be one of the more serious types and she was an older dog by this time born into bad health already. The seizing ended up stopping after she was dosed and she started breathing normally and appeared totally extremely exhuasted beyond belief so we just held her and let her rest and by the next morning she was back to normal and appeared to have no issues struggling mentally or physcially and remembered us and had all of her unique characteristics still. She was put on a medication for something long before it may have been the seizures or something else I cant rememeber but it increased her risk of complications so eventhough we expected her to pass from seizures she ended up having problems keeping her weight down and got diabetes so she was about to go downhill very fast so we bought her mcdonalds and sent her to paradise. We had another dog that wasnt so lucky and he was a good boy and he had bad pelvis and began needing help to get up and would take falls that he couldnt get up from. So id have to follow him around help him around the house in those last months where he wasnt bad enough to not enjoy some time and jjsy needed some help. But otherwise was enjoying his senior years and one night had a big seizure for who knows how long no one woke up but in the morning he was found calm and not very responsive having rolled all over the floor seizing for who know how long, feces everywhere. He was clearly irreversably damaged and needed to also meet his ending but he also still recognized us and responded to his name on the way out so it was sad but I mean thats how seziures work. They may get physically impared and not mentslly with their thinking or the reverse or both. Etc. Its the same with people as it is dogs. With people some of them you manage and they end up having many minor seizures suffering very little brain damage and they end up dying of old age or diabetes or a car accident or they get dimentia at 82 and live to 93 with seizures or they have a really serious seizure at 40 irrecoverable medically induced coma and then they decide to pull the plug as all hope is lost. Same with the dogs. If your dog has seizure problems you can learn what to look for and a vet can give you the emergency medications you might need to try to reverse a really big one thats not looking like its going to stop. Our dog when i found her we werent sure how long she was seizing because i heard a noise and went out to look around and i heard a terrible struggling noise behind the couch and she was there seizing and very contorted. It was the second time i had found her like that. I had a habit of rescuing that little one somehow. Anway this was thr last big one she had before dying of diabetes/medical complications, i foumd.her behimdnthe couch and I got help and we waited a breif moment to see if mayne it was going to let up but because we didnt know how long it had been and it appeared more serious and she was aging we hit her with the emergency stuff and the seizing started letting up gradually and she was very very exhausted and there was no tail wagging just total exhuastion. But she survived and id say made a very strong rapid recovery and ended up passing maybe a year later from diabetes complications induced by medication side effects. She was born not in the best shape from the get go. We would foster animals and she would get anxiety and stress and have siezures so we had to foster less and after she passed we could foster more and I learned a lot about siezures. They are way less scary when youve expirienced them a time or two and if they arent serious ones. Our dog had different kinds of seizures also. One type we called "catching flies" because it was the more minor type we didnt know was a siezure. It looked like she was trying to bite a fly out of the air that didnt exist and those would happen very very often for years and years and years which had really zero effect on her cognitive abilites. It was the bigger siezures she had that were worse and she had 3 or 4 of those in her life and only a couple i think needed emergency medication to attempt to force the seizure to stop and like I said she died of complications from medications causing diabietes so just because they have seizures doesnt mean they can die from it. Really in my opinion i think few dogs that have seizures will have one thats fatal but it also largly depends on the response of the animals caretakers. Big seizures can be saved and then lots of quality lifespan can be added insyead of dying early like it was not all that many years ago. Many siezures are like mitch mcconnell where they freeze like statues. If you know what to look out for we can make a big difference when it comes to surviving seizures. My family has fostered countless animals and we try to keep as many animals of different species as we can handle responsibly and only about 2 from my recollection had seizure issues.
My husky was fine one minute and blind and convulsing the next. I had no idea what was going on. I rushed blud to the nearest vet just two minutes away. They had no idea what was wrong with lil bro. They thought buddy ate something so they pumped bluds stomach full of carbon. I left lil bro overnight and googled buddys symptoms and meningitis is what I found. They called me in the morning telling me lil bro died. They charged me $700 and gave me his dry ass ashes and said they consulted another vet and they were told lil bro might have had meningitis and a steroid would've saved bluds life. buddy was my family for 13 years. I miss lil bro so much..
I’m an expert. What you should do if your dogs have seizures. First put them somewhere comfortable like a couch, their bed and your bed. Second you’re gonna turn off the lights. Third if this lasts like 5 or 10 minutes call the vet
I had a dog growing up that had seizures all the time. I would hold her softly and gently pet her and talk softly and soothingly to her until she was better. I loved her so much. She was a chihuahua that was going to be euthanised for biting people, but she only bit people because she had anxiety. I’m not sure what people did to her but I think they hurt her, and eventually she stopped being scared of us and let us pet her without biting us but she switched to biting ankles when someone would leave because she didn’t want to be abandoned. She was a good dog, just scared and hurt. She would protective over us too. May her rest in heaven and never have to deal with the pain of humans again. We put her down when she was really old and we knew she was hurting. I held her while they did it and she went how she was supposed to, she went loved.
you’re an angel! i love chihuahuas, my little ones are my heart. people do not understand how big and scary the world is for them, we need to have compassion and protect them. you did a beautiful thing
Definitely a Heartbreaker for me. A little over a year ago, we had to put our baby Rottweiler down bc he had more seizures than not within a day. One of the most horrifying times of my life. RIP LEGEND!! 😭😭😭
Same thing only happened my Pitbull this year he had them for a good few yrs and one day this yr he had one too many and had to put to sleep, not a nice thing to go true at all
Only thing you can do in that situation is make sure the poor dog can't get hurt by anything around him, call a vet while calmly talking to your dog incase they can hear you, and once it passes take him to the vet ASAP. Do not try moving him unless it's for his safety. I know this is the first time this owner is experiencing this and it must have been terrifying. I hope the poor pupper is okay now. Seizures are no joke, especially with animals and children.
remember that when youre dog is having a seizure, screaming and freaking out is hard not to do but it doesn't help when its happening. the best thing to do is keep your dog comfortable, if you can safely get them do a vet do it, and keep as calm as possible. even if youre freaking out inside, keep your voice calm and your demeanor calm. im glad Cosmo is alright now though. stuff like this is always so scary
My dog was diagnosed with a seizure disorder. We put her on medication but unfortunately nothing worked. We had to lay her to rest a few years ago. She was such a sweet dog, Dottie was her name❤
My beagle would know they are coming and lay next to me and just clench his jaw shut and you could tell it was hurting him he would just whimper. What ended up stopping his seizures completely without medical intervention was CBD daily in his food. I bought high grade full spectrum CBD and at first used it for breakthrough treatment as it would quickly reverse the seizure then went to daily to prevent. He lived seizure free until his genetic kidney disease took him away which it turned out the whole litter had. Hopefully someone sees this and it helps.
@@ska042 when I say medical intervention, I'll clarify by saying traditional medical intervention. I took him to a vet and was told they wanted to put him straight on meds that will likely alter his personality and quality of life to am extent. So I researched all options. I took a leap of faith with CBD and was very pleasantly surprised to initially see how fast it reversed a seizure and on top of it removed the after affects a seizure normally causes. When I decided to try daily in food it was a game changer going 2 years with no seizures.
Never do that when you have a dog having a seizure, calm quiet, smooth strokes. It’s the opportune time to get Bitten. They have no clue what’s going on when this happens. I had a boy that had this happen. Thank God not very often, but when it happened, it was scary. My one golden saved his life from jumping into the pool right before he had a seizure.
Do NOT pet them. Never. Seizures are uncontrolled movements, so it may happen that the dog bites down on your hand and hurts you or you hurt the dog by holding and petting it.
Best thing to do is make sure he is in a safe spot and just wait it out. You have to stay calm and so he will be calm too. If you freak out it will get worse. Some dogs get this way due to overstimulation so a trip to the vet when you can to do test is a must. And videoing the episodes will also help the vet see what's going on. There could be meds they might prescribe too.
Yes..stay calm..your hysteria only heightened it, although I know thats easier said than done, especially when you're not too familiar with it or what to do..take a cue from the other dog, who was holding him still as it came on..next time😊
DONT touch your dog during a seizure, give them space. I know it is your natural instinct to hold them down but don’t. They will be okay. Anyway I can tell how much you love your animal!!!
This is the reason why I take things serious when it comes to anything that can harm even though the dogs could have been playing you do not know what the symptoms are if he can do any harm
It's really hard to watch a loved one having seizures. Bless your dog🙏, and I hope this wasn't because of a serious situation. Thank goodness you were there for him.❤
The dog was holding him down because he was responding to the onset of the seizure. He knew the seizure was coming before anyone else did. He would be an excellent service dog. I hope the dog is ok. It’s heartbreaking to see them go through that.

Having a seizure. Talk calm, soft, pet. & don’t hold or restrict movement. When it passes still keep calm & quiet. Could take up to an hour to recover completely. May also be very thirsty, or not thirsty or hungry for many hours & usually wants to sleep after.

The same thing happened with my dog she started having seizures and had a big ball in he stomach and a few months after that she died😢

My dog recently passed after a long battle with epilepsy. They never get easier to watch. All you can do is watch and make sure they're "ok" after
This is known as a dog seizure, and in order to calm the dog down, it is by talking or comforting the dog so that it will calm down and the seizure will go away.
Thanks g
yes but keep in mind that the seizure isn’t just going to end. it will end on its own but that will help keep the dog calm afterwards
The moment it’s over he returns straight back to wanting to run around and play.

if it’s your first time your dog has a seizure, bring him to the vet so that doctor can educate you.
@@Xx-Chalice-xXit wasn’t the first time
He knew what to do
@@Xx-Chalice-xXhow would bringing him to the vet prevent the seizure🤨. You are the stupid one for even thinking that. A seizure happens in an instant and doesn’t last long. By the time he even realizes what is happened the damage was already done. Obviously the vet is needed. But it’s nothing about the owner, it’s scientific and there are truths to it. It’s not linear like you think
It could also be likely, that he was just recording the dogs having a fun time before the seizure.

May your precious baby sleep in eternal peace.

During a grand mal seizure like they aren’t aware of their surroundings
@goldsharkwow1231 You don't know that but in case they can hear you, it doesn't hurt anyone to be calm and soothing during an episode...

I'll pray for your baby to not have any more seizures.. my heart goes out to the family

Ok well what if it was a medical condition the do they still go to the vet if it happens everyday or more the once in a day

Speak calmly and gently to your dog! If he hears the panic in your voice, he'll panic too. Just be there, pet him and tell him he's ok. That's all you can do during those moments.
That's what I do too. Rubbing their tummy helps and praising them and remaining calm.
Speak calmly and gently to humans too
@@bobb.6393actually it's not good touching them when they're going through this because touching the body stresses the muscles even more and is hurting them.
every dog might be different, but most of the time it is good to not pet the dog whilst it’s having a seizure, because their brains are already over stimulated we don’t need to add more to it, for my dog it will actually increase the time she’s having the seizure. But like I said every dog is different, but just because it comforts you doesn’t mean it benefits your dog!
@@willmalay5515my dog used to have seizures all the time till she was given medication which seems to suppress it I would definitely pet your dog as it’s going through an episode as that is what the vet recommended
You have to let the seizure pass and act calmly, it is difficult but you only make him more worried if you get upset and call your vet.

Good luck!
That’s good info. And I’m sorry you have to deal with that too. Sounds so scary. Hope it gets better
I'd rather let the dog play it out then pay 1000s for vet

Definitely a Heartbreaker for me. A little over a year ago, we had to put our baby Rottweiler down bc he had more seizures than not within a day. One of the most horrifying times of my life. RIP LEGEND!! 😭😭😭
Same thing only happened my Pitbull this year he had them for a good few yrs and one day this yr he had one too many and had to put to sleep, not a nice thing to go true at all
Condolences for your losses 😢
This comes over breeding. Puppy mills dogs
I had to as well...6.5 yrvold great dane...that I rescued. Wasn't an easy decision.
Condolences for your losses.
Saying "hay hay hay" doesnt help a siezirure. Just say "your okay baby, its okay its okay dont worry ylhr safe"

remember that when youre dog is having a seizure, screaming and freaking out is hard not to do but it doesn't help when its happening. the best thing to do is keep your dog comfortable, if you can safely get them do a vet do it, and keep as calm as possible. even if youre freaking out inside, keep your voice calm and your demeanor calm. im glad Cosmo is alright now though. stuff like this is always so scary
I hope your dog is ok now❤❤

is this a dog seizure?
My dog was diagnosed with a seizure disorder. We put her on medication but unfortunately nothing worked. We had to lay her to rest a few years ago. She was such a sweet dog, Dottie was her name❤
That shit looks like my leg after sitting down for an hour or two💀💀💀
But deadass I hope your dog gets better
My beagle would know they are coming and lay next to me and just clench his jaw shut and you could tell it was hurting him he would just whimper. What ended up stopping his seizures completely without medical intervention was CBD daily in his food. I bought high grade full spectrum CBD and at first used it for breakthrough treatment as it would quickly reverse the seizure then went to daily to prevent. He lived seizure free until his genetic kidney disease took him away which it turned out the whole litter had. Hopefully someone sees this and it helps.
That is a medical intervention
Thank you for sharing. 💞🙏
Hard to believe you don't have thousands of clicks.
MUCH THANKS 👍

😢 Best thing to do is talk to them and stay very calm despite your concerns and worries
Have to do this to my son
Your son is a dog
This guy started barking at his poor dog over and over again
@ladybrownski man idk how I would feel if I seen my dog like this let alone my child. God bless you. I hope he gets better
I hope you’re sweet guy is doing well. ❤
Remember don’t panic, it’s better to pet them and comfort them when it’s happening. 😢
Yeah my dog runs to me right before ehe has one to feel safe
Do NOT pet them. Never. Seizures are uncontrolled movements, so it may happen that the dog bites down on your hand and hurts you or you hurt the dog by holding and petting it.
They are completely unconscious so can’t really comfort
@@diedawachtel4689, I never said to hold them
Take them to the vet immediately. This is a medical emergency. Hugging and petting don't help.
I also had a doggo with seizures. Very sad to see. I hope the doggo is okay❤
OMG I hope your dog is ok! I will pray for u❤
Yes..stay calm..your hysteria only heightened it, although I know thats easier said than done, especially when you're not too familiar with it or what to do..take a cue from the other dog, who was holding him still as it came on..next time😊
I agree
DONT touch your dog during a seizure, give them space. I know it is your natural instinct to hold them down but don’t. They will be okay. Anyway I can tell how much you love your animal!!!
What if it last 3 mins?

This is the reason why I take things serious when it comes to anything that can harm even though the dogs could have been playing you do not know what the symptoms are if he can do any harm

I’ll make sure to hug my dog in the middle of a seizure 😊
People, you are supposed to record it to show it later to the vet, it's basic info
The dog was holding him down because he was responding to the onset of the seizure. He knew the seizure was coming before anyone else did. He would be an excellent service dog. I hope the dog is ok. It’s heartbreaking to see them go through that.

Nothing you can do, just comfort him, and help them through the seizure, it's more common than you think.
