We were there mid-July 2022. We encountered ~3hrs rainy period for once. The temperature dropped very fast. I would say every 4PL hikers are lucky if not encountering any rain.

I just completed the loop this week (mid July 2024) and it was stunningly beautiful, the wild flowers were at their peak. 1000% worth it.
