I totally agree with you
Wrong Strawhat
Parents mostly likely taught others how to cook rice. Same with noodles.
He didn't wash his rice...
i needed this info. thanks!
It is a crime for this video not to have many views. This video should at least have 3M views.
I purchased the exact Walmart brand long grain rice as this video and sure enough that's what the guy is making here, perfect
Success!!! Thanks for this!!!
To the point. Perfect video
Short and sweet perfect
I maybe one of many people but you have my like
I’m in my sixties and this was the easiest way I’ve ever cooked rice. In addition, I did not clean my as per directions. Thanks!!!
Sweet, remeber mate, eat healthy and try to work out, if you're not able to workout then a one hour of walking daily would be great
I tripled the recipe and used a larger pan! Great recipe the most perfect white rice I’ve made, paired it with a stir fry.
THAT ALL WOW THANK YOU
very fantastic white rice recipe. nicely exlained.......

Thank you!!
Thanks it’s that easy lol who knew 😂. Great content
I'm a 24f and never ever made rice on the stove correctly 😅but thank you so much I will be doing this for now on ❤❤
So useful I thought I did something wrong when the rice started to boil
Best method to boil rice
Thank You
Thanks to the rice pots i forgot how to make white rice so here i am again 😂trying to make pot rice
Thank you.
I understood this video 👍
You're the f****** Legend I seen a million views of how to cook rice but this is the best what I ever seen in my life.....🎉🎉🎉🎉
perfect
Great instructions, thanks. I didn't even add salt, and I needed a little longer but I might have put a bit extra water in, but it was delicious, fluffy rice! I want to cook in the stainless steel pot rather than in the nasty non-stick surface of a rice cooker.
😊 thanxs
tnx
Liking this video based off one minute detail that I’m SURE is the reason my rice never cooked:
He said turn it low then SPECIFIED for the literal and overthinkers that this would be just enough to “lightly simmer”.
I’ve been turning my rice down to the lowest setting then wondering why it doesn’t cook 🤦🏽♀️🤣
I half realized this, while watching my rice cooker go to work (it steams the rice at a definite simmer for about 14 minutes).
Great video 👍🏾
Nice tutorial
Thank you
Idk know why but I kept burning and messing up my rice until this video 😂 Thank you so much
Perfect 👍 Thank You So Much. From MickCotton BBQ Aloha ✅🌸
What kind of seasoning do you recommend so it would taste good plz and thank you
❤❤❤
I've always been messing up my rice. It came out overcooked. Gluggy. Going to give this method a try. Thank you.
No worries man i didnt rinse it either right now😂
I'm 13 years old and I just made the best rice, my mom couldn't believe
Easiest tutorial
❤
Thank you 🙏🏼
So I just double the recipe if I want more servings?
Can I add butter to the rice during or after?
thank you so much now i can cook rice for myself cuz im a 10 year old
Quick, straight to the point and no bs🫡
I'm not a guy who is usually incapable of things. I'm usually very good at learning, and I'm very curious.
So WHY am I terrified of cooking? I'll never know. But I feel pretty incapable since I'm over here trying to figure out how to cook rice, one of the most basic things ever, and I STILL MESSED IT UP THE FIRST TIME which is why I'm here...
Ugh. How incompetent.
Thanks for the video ❤
That rice is getting more rest than me 😅
Perfect video to send to your husband 😂
How do you cook the rice if you need to add to water that already boiling if you need to rinse it?
Do u put butter, black pepper
W vid
guys i am about to cook my first ever rice! i am so excited ill keep you updated in reply!
nvm i burnt the house down
Do we add 4 cups water and 2 cups rice for double?
I followed all these steps to a T but there was still quite a bit of water after 22 minutes - I kept it on a low boil all the time with the lid on. My past experiences have told me 17 is a VERY low number so you might want to crank that up to 25+.
“I didn’t rinse the rice” glad i’m not the only one
My rice got bubbly and spewed out the lid I assume I didn’t put the temp low enough?
You may have put too much rice brother 😂 I think I’m about to have the same issue
Loll 😂
Cooking oil?
i’m about to start boiling
I thought we had to wash the rice first am I wrong
Kitchenware:
- measuring Cup
- Teaspoon
- Wooden Spoon
0:00 Step 1: Get a 3 Quart Size Pan
0:04 Step 2: Add 2 Cups of water, and boil on HIGH Heat
0:08 Step 3 Once Boiling add 1/2 teaspoon of salt AND add 1 Cup of Long Grain White Rice
NO NEED TO RINSE RICE
0:20 Step 4: Once the rice starts to boil again. First Stir, next cover with a lid and finally turn heat down to low for 17 minutes. DO NOT REMOVE LID
0:36 Step 5: Check on rice to see if tender and water is dried. If so remove than pot and let it rest with LID ON
0:47 Step 6: After letting rice “rest” for a couple min, remove the rice and fluff it around. Rice should be ready to eat
Tysm for this. Was just looking for a comment with the instructions. Really didn't want to rewatch the video every time I got to the next step lmao
I just boiled the rice 💀
What if you add too much water? Is there an easier way to drain?
My main problem is is I don't have a lid for my cooking pot so try try using aluminum foil but it really doesn't work very well
How do you get the rice to not stick to the bottom?
Waaaah! My old rice cooker just died!
