Great Kitana Combo Tutorial. I am trying to learn alot about her combos as for some reason I find her the easiest to play with overall. The second combo is bad ass!!

I created a Kombo for the Mournful variation that causes 34% damage. It follows: F, 4, 4/ D, F, 1(improved)/ F, 1, 1(again)/ D, B, 1/Jump Up Punch (1 or 2)/ F, 1, 1, 2/ D, F, 4. Thanks for Your attention. I hope You can understand. I am sorry for my bad english. that's because I am from Brazil. My english is very very basic.
For anybody else who got pretty tripped up by the air kick and throw, you can pull off a 29% using 1 meter burn by doing this; finding truth, upraise, dash forward and do the jump punch, ground fan throw, assassin impale. his idea on impale right before the fan leaves works great here, hope this helps anyone!
I got a 36% meterless kombo for Kitana. A start with b14, up raise (db1), f43, f3, fan throw (df1), jump kick, air fan throw, run forward and cancel into f4, throat slice (bf3). Very simple. Also the second hit gets your opponent low. Kitana does great meterless damage.
Just got back into MK so bought both X and 11 to try out before 12 comes out. Had to go back to my OG Kitana and this vid helped me out with ease. She's still fun af to play and earned a sub.
same figured i’d get good again before 12 it looks fire, i’m trying this combo but the upraise doesn’t catch after the first combo unless i’m in a corner

Add me to the list of people unable to connect the Upraise. Does it matter who your opponent is (bigger hit box or something)? Because I couldn't possibly input this any faster...
***** I can seem to get it to work if I eliminate the 2, but not if I do it as shown. As soon as that third hit arrives, the opponent is too far for Upraise. I don't get it :(
This is probably one of the best combo tutorial methods I've seen. Not even the guys with 100k+ subs do it this well. The only bad thing I can say here is maybe get a new mic? Subbed.
Instead of the assassin strike at the end you can run forward and use an x-Ray for 37% dmg. That is if you have enough meter built up for it of course. It's the only thing that extends the dmg that I could find
Tell me why I get more damage with this same combo minus some moves? I am able to get 41% with just Sharpen, F1-1-2 to Fan Toss, Jump Front Kick to Fan Toss, Enhanced Assasin Strike Even without the meters, it is still 33%. More than this combo that adds an extra Uprise and Neutral Jump Punch
I keep on doing rising fan when I try to do it fast for finding truth to uprise but when I go a little slower she hits the ground and is to far away for uprise😅
Hello,this combos work in 2017 ? I am not play MK X for a long time and this combo I can make it...after I make Finding Truth ,upraise wont work,but I can make the second part,upraise ,jump punch,upkick, air fan and fan throw and assasin impale witch in my opinion is harder.. and that to combos wont combine ,please help me .

I cant do the Upraise right after the Finding Truth. I can only get it right by doing Uplift right after Finding Truth. If i just do the normal Upraise then i am out of range and it doesn't lift the enemy. Its like Uplift has an increased range. Can anyone confirm? cus i tryd alot and cant do it with normal Upraise...
35% meterless combo all variations for Kitana: Rightful Heir (forward + Back kick, front kick) Fake Out (back punch, front punch) into fan toss. jump kick, air fan toss, forward dash, upraise, (one step forward) neutral jump punch into (one step forward) uppercut. (I tried other things at the end but uppercut gives most dmg) Most damaging combo (without meter) I could find out so far. Only the combo start sux, because it(Rightful Heir) is a mid and its slow but I read it gets buffed with the newest patch. What do you guys think?

You should be pretty close before the neutral jump punch (as I wrote "one step forward") and after that another step towards and it should work. Even if not, with the upcoming patch, new (damaging) possibilities will show up for Kitana, at least I hope so. (I play on PC, so I dont have the patch yet)
Guys again just read the comments. You can upraise after finding truth only if you are NOT FIGHTING A FEMALE OPPONENT. I literally just did this combo on male characters. I tried it on cassi cage and it doesn't work because female fighters have a smaller hitbox
They must have patched something bro b/c her upraise doesn't have the range in the game that it appears to have in this video...I liked your video anyway.... learning to do the jump punch into the jump kick double fan throw
Yeah what i was interested in was her openers... showed me how to open combos for counters, (its difficult to get the fan out when opening the combo)... the opener i mastered seems to be rare probably cuz its risky on attack... it is the jump in punch - rising fan - knock down - then string the rest of combos...

If you just started, use some button mashing characters. (Cassie/Johnny cage or Erron black) I kinda rose up to start combos. My list from using characters is this (start to now) Erron Black, Kitana, sorta mileena, Cassie cage, mileena, scorpion, sub zero. I started to get combos down at scorpion. I'm going back to Cassie and Kitana so I can be better with them
phoenixrockz 14 It`s a tutorial and he shows step by step how to get that combo going. Rather a beginners guide, but that is what i really like(d) about his videos. Meanwhile i can get into combos by myself, but the way he shows them is good. At least for some characters he has more than only one video.

You can also chain in the x-ray by replacing the assassin impale and get around 36%
You can get up to 40% with sharpen, forward 1, 1, 2; down forward 1, jump then do it again in the air, assassin strike

Sorry im late but the thing is, this depends on the hitbox. Male hitboxes work perfectly since they're bigger. Won't work on females. Simple as that.

The last patch makes the upraise impossible after finding truth. You now have to be EVEN closer for the upraise to work.

Female's hitboxes are smaller than male's. I find it BS, But Its in the game.

I can't uppercut it at the end, the gravity is too big... My dummy is already touch the ground before I can uppercut it..

With the non ex sharpen you get 35%damage. With the ex version you get 37%
