Hey Tasos! Looking forward to this! It is almost impossible to find good informational rebuild videos of automatic transmissions, it is always like "magic" to everyone because no one can rebuild them properly! Please make more detailed transmission videos about how to rebuild them, how to modify them for more pressure and other improvements and tips and tricks so we can learn how to work on them properly! :)

Best transmission I had was a GM Turbo 400. Clutches and most internals were stock. 3500 stall speeed and shift kit. Used trans 40k miles. Never problem in street race car 600hp

" Car was only driven to Church" Sheared locking tabs on pump gear tells all! 5 years of 700+ wheelpower surely takes its toll . Could have been worse. Another Cool Video Tasos.

i have a 2006 cls 500 that i neutral dropped like a dumbass with 722.9 transmission i took it to a shop for diagnosis they told me either the pump broke or the input shaft broke they quoted $4880.00 for rebuild would it be cheaper to find a used trans and swap valve body and conductor plate? Car has been sitting for over a year because nobody knows how to swap the trans so i was thinking of scrapping the car any advice helps. Thx.

    Hay Tasos,
What do you use to clean all your parts? They come out like new!

Why not upgrade clutches? You run in to the same problem again with stage 3.
