Don't diminish the work you've put into those two Psalms! If there's anything I've learned while I'm memorizing, it's that God tends to bless the journey, not the achievement :)

Well think about this: if you memorized only a single verse a day, you could memorize the entire New Testament in only 20 years! But even that can feel overwhelming to people. Even if you only memorize a couple verses a week, you could memorize an entire book of the Bible this year. It's POSSIBLE! :)

This topic is very timely. I'm watching lately about how to memorize the bible and I was so amazed to watch this video. Woahh!Praise God, I'm more encouraged to love more the Lord and digging deeper into His word.
Thank you for this video. One thing that I am thinking is that we can have it even in memory for others, not just ourselves- in places where they limit or forbid the Bible- we can take it in our lives, hearts and memory and share it with others that have little to no access to it.

Memorizing the whole Bible is quite a feat! I go to a couple of Bible studies at my church and a lady who leads one of them can quote scripture from memory constantly. She has applied herself for many years and that's what it takes!
I love that, Kathleen! It's a good reminder that this kind of intimate knowledge of the Word doesn't come overnight. It's the result of applying yourself daily over years and allowing God to bless that investment of time.

I've started to memories philippians. In part I try to listen to it at least once a day. The more I'm able to listen to the whole book. So that it will less time it will take me as I get farther in the book. Also I have actually sit down read or singing it normal once a day for at less 10min. But that's focused on what I'm working on that day. I also think it helps to understand what is happening, so I tend to listen to people teaching out of it. I've also trying to listen to Mark that way it will take me less time when it's time to memories it. Which would probably be after 2 or 3 of the letters.( I really like having something playing in the back ground. So instead of music I listen to a book.)
Very good, but is he a shepherd? However, I too am recreating that intimacy with God and try to memorize biblical passages. Our pastor also sends us some biblical passages in the messages 🙏 .. Very good mentor mama

@@leolovelife777 The Quran and the New Testament are actually similar in length and that’s what he is memorising. It’s very inaccurate to compare the Quran to short poems. Also, Christians today are not who we have to ask because you no longer have the book (the injeel). Unfortunately you don’t even have the original of what you’re reading

Memorize it in your mind, put the word of God In your heart and soul ,why are you not piclaming what the king told us to do , only the new testament ,all of Gods word is important ...not base off of what we do ,this sir your just a writer this is about memories ING a book to you, and to True spirits of God its instructions on how to live in the new life, all I hear is me me me us us us ,you may know how to read and understand things here on Earth but the word of God is not just a book to understand but to be spirital with God ,so what does it say about riches and worldly desires lovers of themselves, leaning on your own understanding. ..... you can tell the difference between practicing faith and boasting , half way in the video Alot of talking and fast that's why people listen ,. I've memorized 2 Psalms and that took me a long time. To memorize the whole Bible is quite an achievement!

I was literally googling yesterday about how long it would take to memorize the whole Bible and then this comes up! How cool!

I have started memorizing the book of psalms. Now I have memorized 5 psalms from the Holy Bible..
I went to a Christian school for just one year and I Still remember the scripture we had to memorize.. and I'm 38 now..

My 7 year old cousin has memorised the entire Quran. it’s very normal in Islam.
