@@TraumaER that has always been an issue for me. I watched a video from JR Raymond recently that talked about adding more thumb tape to a ball in strategic locations that I tried out and have since been pretty happy with the results. I'll break down where I'm at currently. I recently started using thumb tape over my thumb knuckle in addition to one piece of white tape in my thumb hole (inserted opposite of my knuckle) and, as the temperature has been just under freezing lately, three pieces of black tape inserted in my thumb hole (same side as knuckle). The black tape was after I watched JR's video. So far, I have great pressure on my thumb yet it releases without getting stuck. The tape on my thumb is something I wish I knew about years ago. The friction on my thumb without tape would make my thumb gradually swell up and often I'd get a blister near my knuckle. With tape, that's not an issue, and my thumb stays the same size all night at league (so I'm not adding or removing thumb hole tape frequently like I used to). The white and black tape in my thumb hole are providing me a nice balance of grip during my swing and smoothness when I release. Anyway, I'd look into this if you're interested. As for me, we'll see how temperatures affect things once summer returns, but I'm guessing I won't have to adjust much when the time comes.
Funny how similar my arsenal is to this. My typical tournament arsenal is: Super Nova, Phaze2, Zen, Hyroad-Pearl, IQ Tour, Pitch Black or UC3 (depending on the pattern if we know it prior)

While I doubt it was done intentionally, the angle of the camera to the ball rack makes your "big ball" actually look bigger and they get smaller as you go haha
Serious comment, arsenal REALLY depends on whether the bowler is RPM dominant, speed dominant, or matched in their speed and RPMs. Mo Pinel (RIP) did a small presentation on this a few years back. Might still be on Radical's channel, who knows. Anyways, I've been a speed dominant bowler practically my entire life, so if I was to make a six ball arsenal I would MAYBE have one symmetrical ball (and it would need to be aggressive, something like something from the Zen line), at least four asym balls, and a spare/urethane ball. Since the only real strat I have for playing any lane is to either go straight up the 2nd arrow or loft it up the second arrow. Getting more angle will get a speed dominant bowler in trouble. But if I was RPM dominant, whether I have 500+ RPM or just throw it under 14mph, yeah I'm gonna want more symmetrical stuff than asym stuff because I want to create more angle. And to be honest, the majority of bowlers out there who don't travel and compete and who just go to league every week can probably just get away with one symmetrical ball, one asym, and a spare/urethane ball. Hell, seeing as how aggressive urethane stuff has become, the common league bowler could probably get away with just possessing three different purple hammers with three different layouts.

Drill question. I want to add a iQ Tour. Most of my stuff is Pin up. Would a pin down layout in the iQ your be worthwhile?? Or cause the way the core is, I should drill it pin up??
Tough to answer because Storm is really Storm, Roto Grip and 900G, where Brunswick is Ebonite, Brunswick, Hammer, C300, Dv8, Track. So they still have lots of options within their “Brand”. Also, some of these balls are comparable across brand families and sticking with Storm for instance, let’s them build an arsenal that complements one ball to another.
Wish my house had enough oil to even consider half these balls. Since the USBC rescinded the oil volume rule, the left side of the lane plays so wet dry, it's insane. Urethane or weak solids like the Camo are the way to go.
