Question: at 16:40 when doing just head turns - at 5 6 7 you say to turn head to the left when stepping forward but 19:30 when doing full body turn at 5 6 7 you say to turn head to the right. Shouldn't head turn be the same at 5 6 7 8 regardless of whether you spin or not?
I just wondering the one in your salsa is the left foot forward so I have learned the right foot on the one back... and the first one step of the guy moves the left one forward so the way you do it the first one of the guy should be on his right foot backwards ??
Tara, is it normal when you find the other side head roll more difficult than the other one, because the head roll to the right is little bit difficult for me
Yes! It’s totally normal! For me going to the left is more difficult. Most people will choose a side and stick with that one when they dance, i just wanted to give options for both.
I like your content, But I think what are you saying about not moving the column is more corect for salsa and less for bachata. I very much like "Ofir and Ofri" as bachata couple, they are also champions and if you check their videos she moves it, but not while turning, more as sensual bachata element. I think best is to be able to do both of the ways and fit which looks better for a certain movement.
I totally agree! This lesson is for people who are learning to use head rolls for the first time so I wanted to make it as simple as possible and have them make it small to help them maintain their balance. I also feel that head rolls with a partner are completely different than when you’re on your own. Thanks for your feedback!
When you're showing us footwork or even arms, it's easier for is to watch it from behind... but when you're teaching head rolls - we need to see it from the front side. 🦇
I'm writing this on your latest video but this applies to earlier videos ..please have ceiling fan off when filming...very distracting...othrwise I like your channel...although I'd appreciate your international style Latin videos
Thank you for the back view! For a beginner like me, it's so helpful!

It’s really a matter of which way is more comfortable for you, there aren’t any hard rules about it😊
Thank you so much !! I've been looking for head rolls for such a long time !! it's really clear and well done :)
I’m so glad you liked it!

I’m having trouble coming to neutral after turns. My feet are all over the place . 😳
That’s totally normal. Try making your head circle smaller and remember to try to keep your focus forward.
