Sit with Claire Winther

Claire Winther (she/her) is a Calgary-based dance artist with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance, with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honors) from the University of Calgary. She presented her kinesiology honours thesis at the 32nd International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conference in Limerick, Ireland. Claire is an apprentice dancer for W&M Physical Theatre’s WM2 Dance Company, and recently performed for Ballet Bodies YYC in their second showcase in Motion II. She has also performed in work choreographed by Marie France Forcier, Yukichi Hattori, Woiciech Mochniej, Melissa Monteros, Linnea Swan, and Christianne Ulmark. She has danced in films showcased at WildDogs International Screendance Festival and IGNITE! Festival for Emerging Artists.
