dude this is so good. easily the nicest paint job i’ve seen on one of these. i’m going to do a shopping list of all you’re items you used and try it on some cheap model and practice these techniques. thanks so much for such a descriptive video.
the build is just as important , as the weathering , the little nuance's you add , I love to watch , I especially like that piece of music with the banjo , awesome
i just found your video, I built up the legs and stared the forward frame on my ammoknight yesterday. I love that you are including the instruction sheet step on the video.
That was incredible! Thanks so much for sharing. I've never seen anyone paint an entire kit with an airbrush before. (I only returned to the hobby recently after years away) You've not only inspired me to do better, but given me new techniques to try. The pastels for figure shading, and pencil for highlights, are genius ideas. Keep up the good work, your models are awesome!
I can't say I'm a big fan of the model itself, but the work you put into it is phenomenal. That's one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen. Well done, brother.
Love the videos. With figure painting I find using oils for the skin gives me the best results. Just mixing yellow ochre, burnt sienna and titanium white and variations of light and dark give a convincing skin tone. Could also add red for cheeks and lips.
Hey, I just bumped into this channel, and I just wanted to say that I'm VERY impressed with the production quality of your videos! Normally I'm not the biggest fan of model videos without audio commentary, but the way you show the step you're doing while you're doing it is just ingenious! Kudos to you.
Whow just amazing, thanks for this, you are a master, great work great talent. Please more more videos whit "Maschinenkrieger" you ave a many choices. Manu from Faro (south Portugal)
Another superb video, TY Scale-a-ton for sharing this step by step build , I learn a lot from watchig your builds & I cant wait to apply some of the techniques to my next build . Very happy I discovered your channel & subscribed
I have been building SF3D ORIGINAL kits since the 80's, I still have some of the serial numbered boxes. I have collected some of the Machine Krieger kits as well. I just love the whole concept. I kick myself for not buying the board game! P.S. I don't believe I have ever heard of the pencil led technique!! I will most definitely use that in the future!!
Regardless whether you build aircraft, ships or fantasy objects your artistic talents shine through as always. Another super model !! I'm looking forward to see what comes next.
Oct. 31, 2019---Thanks for showing off the kit and your finished build of it...looks great. What would make it more interesting is having a weapon or 3 on it, then show it killing bugs ala Starship Troopers.
This is the first video of yours that I've watched. It's one of the most information dense modeling videos I've ever seen. I really liked the embedded instruction images in the build portion. Good job, not that it means much, but I'm very impressed.
3:00 Boring!? My friend, I watched a video series of a man, in real time speed, assembling 1/350 Bismarck....9 hours in total...for a modeler, watching someone assembling stuff is never boring :)
I'm not a Maschinenkrieger fan, but the result is awesome! I'm always amazign, how easy is painting for you! And soft pastels are good for almost everything in all scales. ;) All the best for You! ;)
Great video! When painting figurines, your black basing technique works well. If you want to push the detail a bit further, looking into zenithal highlighting mini painters use. It's almost identical to black basing but with more attention paid to light source and highlight & shadows. :)
Ellerinize sağlık. Süper olmuş yine... Primer>Boya>Chipping Medium>boya>Chipping Medium>Boya..... Şeklindeki kullanımı ilk sizde gördüm. Süper olmuş.... Diorama base çalışması da sanırım devam ediyor. Kolay gelsin üstat.
Thank you for the video very interesting and help full , I wanted to ask what other paints could I used instead of the H460 as I can't find anyone with stock of this paint. I also wanted to ask how long I can leave the chipping fluid on before I do the chipping and how long I should let it dry before painting over it .
Amazing, it looked like metal, paint actually falling off the surface and cracking!! The layering really paid off. Question what type of paint do you use? Acrylic, enamel etc etc
I have a blog but didn't update it this year. I am planning to make a "modeling basics" video serie include different painting tecniques with airbrushes. I am not ok with magazines because they have some termns and conditions like model pics with their products or using only their products for publishing my articles. I rejected that offers instantly of course. I think UA-cam is great for honest modeling.
I am a little surprised how the glue is applied. When I was modelling, I applied the glue on the edges before snapping them together. Is it usual/better to apply them post snaping as in your video?
In his Macross video he explains that, though it's a regular cement bottle, he's filled it with a far thinner adhesive (possibly custom made?) that essentially seeps into the seams as he applies it.
How you ever thought of doing a rocket kit? Like Saturn V or R-7 or something, I've been doing Vostok recently and I'd be curious to see how you would do one.
Back when Star Wars came out there was some interest in Japan of producing a Sci-Fi series using these models in stop action animation. A test pilot (excuse the pun) was produced, search You Tube "SF 3D Original Video" to watch it. The project never went anywhere, but a relative few of these kits were produced with some of them finding there way to the States in the early 80's. No more kits were made for over a decade due to copyright disputes. Fortunately the made a big comeback in the past few years.
Awesome to see these kits still around. If I could collect and build one series, it would be these. When you were painting the pilot, what did you use to mask off sections?
That think looks like it has seen some action. I've seen it also in that diorama you made, with the two girls... How on earth do you get in and out of that thing ? LOL
Hi! This the first element of the final video of year. Stay tuned for the diorama video. I hope it will be uploaded before 23rd of December.
FYI I did not find the building portion boring at all. :)
I love the guide in the up left corner it's really helpful
It is so therapeutic to watch you air brush and listen to the music

I can watch you build models all day long! I have learned so much. Thank you!
I am in awe of your airbrush skills....
Love that you add the paint moxes and layering to the video :)
WOW! I have this kit and I don't think I can do it the justice that you have. Simply amazing!
i just found your video, I built up the legs and stared the forward frame on my ammoknight yesterday. I love that you are including the instruction sheet step on the video.
Excellent presentation , l especially like the part in where you put the schematics of the parts you were assembling on the side of the screen. A+.
Awsome ! You’re an expert in painting and weathering, excellent job.
Superb painting and weathering!!! These kits just lend themselves to such techniques - great job 👍

This was an awesome vid. I'm super happy you included that thinner to paint.
I can't say I'm a big fan of the model itself, but the work you put into it is phenomenal. That's one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen. Well done, brother.
Stunning! I can see why you choose this fantastic figures...
love the painting.. will try that multi chipping layers. can't wait for the diorama video
Your painting skills are so impressive, it makes the videos very enjoyable.
Amazing work and one of the best model tutorial ive seen in a while!
awesome airbrushing and finishing
Details of texture are insane!
Beautiful work!! So awesome to see your whole process and approach + all of the airbrushing specs!
Love the videos. With figure painting I find using oils for the skin gives me the best results. Just mixing yellow ochre, burnt sienna and titanium white and variations of light and dark give a convincing skin tone. Could also add red for cheeks and lips.

I was never much interested in ma. K until i saw this. The skill you posess is secondary to the art you inspire!
This reminds me that I have a Gundam model still in the box from like 3 years ago to build... Great content, Happy Holidays!
I build/convert the MK 44's Ammoknights into superheros. I have done Dead Pool, Harley Quinn, and Blue Beetle. Really fun kits ;)

Hasegawa.. the 1st kit i have when i was a little kid 😍
I didn't know this kit is so awesome nowadays
Awesome work. It looks like it can just get up and move on it's own.
Regardless whether you build aircraft, ships or fantasy objects your artistic talents shine through as always. Another super model !! I'm looking forward to see what comes next.
Thank you very much for your valuable comment!
Beautiful, you are a true master of the art
Great job! realistic weathering...Extra information is very good and well done.
superb paint jobs

I'm glad I watched this. The rusted chipped look had eluded me until you did it.
Очень круто поздравляю с окончанием и спасибо за вашу работу что радуете нас 😎😁😀
Mad painting skill. Great work.
Great build i enjoyed it from the begining to the end.
Maschinen Krieger is one of the best!!!
Great job painting!
Excellent work.
Excellent !
but have a little note : in some places little decals looks like they added on an old and hard using metall, in very final part
Hi Rahmi!
You're getting closer... An Armoured Fighting... Suit!
Not far away from an AFV. :-)
Impressive result with the weathering. 👍
Hi Radu Thank you very much! To be honest that was the most enjoyable build this year.
Amazing job!
Nice work!

Looks fantastic mate!!
Very inspiring! Bloodynice work
i would love to see the original kitbash version from like 1980s
I love these Ma.K kits..
What a great video.. the way you paint it it's so ralistic... you got your self a like and sub... keep up the good work man

Figürlerin gümrükten çıkmasını bekliyorum. Umarım bir aksilik olmaz ve bu ay içinde bitmiş olur. Teşekkürler.
what a great work!!
look those beautiful and delicate details!!!
i think maybe i should "copy" one as your steps !! LoL
Thanks! That's why I share ;)

If you ever want to see great armour effects have a look at night shifts vids. You are both wonderful modellers.

Çok teşekkür ederim. Evet onu yanlış biliyormuşum bilgi için teşekkürler.
What do you call that technique you're doing at 7:24? Can you do a tutorial on it? Thanks a ton!
It's post shading weathering. Check my latest video (P-40N) for more details.
Amazing, it looked like metal, paint actually falling off the surface and cracking!! The layering really paid off.
Question what type of paint do you use? Acrylic, enamel etc etc
Thank you! I prefer Tamiya and Gunze acrylics. Also Mr Color lacquer series are the best modeling paints with accurate color tones in my opinion.
@@Scaleaton Thank you
lacquer paint can be used for chpping technique ?
More sci-fi i love it.have ypu thought about battlestar galactica viper or macross yf-21.excellent work keep them coming.
Thanks a lot! Sure more Sci-Fi videos will come
Oh man I would love to see him do something like a sci-fi capital ship, or space fighter like the Viper.
This is so awesome! For the chipping medium to work is the base coat has to be lacquer and the top coat that goes over the medium acrylic?
Awesome as always, do you have a blog with pictures of the painting process or something similar? Anyway you could publish it in magazines
I have a blog but didn't update it this year. I am planning to make a "modeling basics" video serie include different painting tecniques with airbrushes. Fantastic
Good job! Stéph.
What concentration isopropyl alcohol are you using when you thin paints? There are different concentrations. Is it 70%, 90% or another?
amazing!!
where is the colorful sanding block from? Also you use isopropyl alcohol for Tamiya paint vs Tamiya thinner, any reason?
You know where to get that model online?
Awsome work~~
You gotta like SF3D
Great work keep it up!

@@decibelfilm Thank you captain!
Damnit I wish I could do eye that good
increible
Superb👍😊👌
Pretty okay! But i'd say you lean on your airbrush WAY too much. Did you just get one, so you use it all the time to practice?
The Ghost Knight is out March 2023
Great music!
Sweet vid, man! Perfect amount of depth shown into your process.
Oh, and uhh... do you want me to buy you some gloves? :P
J j'adore à faire 👍👍👍🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
great job! would you like to try yourself in armored vehicles?
Thank you! I bought a few AFV kits already :D
How you ever thought of doing a rocket kit? Like Saturn V or R-7 or something, I've been doing Vostok recently and I'd be curious to see how you would do one.
That's completely unfamiliar subjects for me. But why not.
Excelente
Is this just a model, or there is some manga\anime type media about this armor suites?
Just a model unfortunately they never made this into a anime

nice!
Awesome work!
Why do use Isopropyl Alcohol to thin most of your paints instead of using Mr Leveling Thinner?
Because it's cheap and works with acrlyics :)
What yellow color's do you use ?
I can't remember right now but probably it's from RLM series
Awesome to see these kits still around. If I could collect and build one series, it would be these.

I cant fing h460,do you have any other suggestion? thanks
If you have Tamiya Hull Red you can make your own mixture with adding some red, orange etc.
@@Scaleaton thank you so much, hope that you will build tanks/warship
exquisite ….
