@@poor_mans_drummer heel toe is practicing a lot. I play heel down for slow and heel up for fast I can get a couple of doubles in but I can’t get a roll.
Just gotta keep at it! It definitely took me a couple of years of practice before I was able to keep it up consistently. For me, heel-toe just makes life so much easier.
@@poor_mans_drummer I can see the advantage you go super fast with what looks like ruthless efficiency. It makes me feel better that something so effortless looking took years to nail. Il keep practicing. I’ve definitely sped up over the past year. I know because I go back to songs that I play along to such as Spellbound and mourning palace by dimmu and I’m not exhausted after the song anymore I can play 10 different pretty fast tracks now with out too much fatigue. The doubles are a joy to behold.
