Man to be on the dance floor when Sean Paul came on changed everything! Everybody was out there dancing having a good time. What a time to be alive for!
He didn't change anything, in Toronto dancehall, soca, chutney and reagee was the norm in the clubs. He is a great artist but cmon there was plenty of artist who are much bigger, the only thing he did is maybe break out in the US with white audiences.
I was in 1 first grade in high school. Each time we thought the song was at the end, Sean Paul continued.. I think we just never heard any reggae of that type before in World music. So he exploded hip hop these years. He was beating 50 cent, Eminem, any hip hop artist
This video is a gem. At a time when rappers were making multi-million-dollar music videos that now feel dated and ridiculous, Sean Paul made a music video that literally anybody can still relate to on a shoestring budget. They're even in a regular truck, no spinners, no lift kit. Timeless.

I was a teenager when this song came out and I was like, "WTF are they still banging on the furnace?!" The man was okay with his basement being a whole dancehall and the only thing he asked was for them to not bang on the furnace.
I love everything about this video, the cozy home vibes and cooking, the dad and little brother dance, the raging party downstairs , just so nice and down to earth
I love hw they all dutty dancing but mst of them are all pretty decently dressed for such a party, and still lookin HOT!! big up to them olden days where the original twerkers didnt need to be half naked in clips to do it -__-
This was one of those albums that shook up a WHOLE GENERATION I remember I had bought it and brought it into school and got it out in class. The popular/hot girls saw it and asked to look at it, they were going through the booklet and everything. My friends being a bit more nerdy and more into Creed and the Linkin Parks didn’t even understand. Ended up dating one of them 😂. Sean Paul is a legend in my eyes 💯
I miss when this was the jam that got everyone up on they're feet, also when MTV played MUSIC, LETS GET BACK TO THE GOOD LIFE. The kid dancing will always be classic.
Literally what? Millions of the people I’m the USA were very depressed at this time.. I hate how people try to pretend the early 2000s were some great times just because it holds nogistia to them
Mucha gente mas joven y mucha gente mas vieja nunca entenderá lo que Sean Paul nos hizo sentir con esta canción en nuestra gloriosa juventud a principios de 2000s ❤❤❤😎
I remembered when they filmed this video north of Toronto in Woodbridge, Ontario. That was a long time ago!!! almost 20 years. Still a great tune! Still listening in 2019!!!!!!!!!
Cool!! Does Sean Paul have family or friends in Toronto, cause I was in the same plane as him from Jamaica to Toronto. Such a mega star was in the same airplane as me. I thought he had his own private jet, he must be a simple guy. In the airport lounge, he didn't put on airs or act demanding, he seemed pretty down to earth. I am such a lucky girl!!
Mike Lala I use to do some extra work and was at my agency when the casting call came out for this; my agent was reading it off to me and I was getting so excited to audition for it as I loved Sean Paul as an artist; but then at the bottom it basically said no white people 😑

That’s not the furnace, those are the vents
Justice for this man
I was a teenager when this song came out and I was like, "WTF are they still banging on the furnace?!" The man was okay with his basement being a whole dancehall and the only thing he asked was for them to not bang on the furnace.
True😅
It's crazy how many people come back to this everyday. This song is Iegendary
Diwali riddim is still fire 🔥 😍 🙌

I love everything about this video, the cozy home vibes and cooking, the dad and little brother dance, the raging party downstairs , just so nice and down to earth
I love hw they all dutty dancing but mst of them are all pretty decently dressed for such a party, and still lookin HOT!! big up to them olden days where the original twerkers didnt need to be half naked in clips to do it -__-
Not just that he says ladies, not bitches I love it :)
Hit 2025 🎉
This was one of those albums that shook up a WHOLE GENERATION
I remember I had bought it and brought it into school and got it out in class. The popular/hot girls saw it and asked to look at it, they were going through the booklet and everything. My friends being a bit more nerdy and more into Creed and the Linkin Parks didn’t even understand.
Ended up dating one of them 😂. Sean Paul is a legend in my eyes 💯
Waao
I remember recording this music video from MTV and replaying it over and over again. Taught myself how to dance!

I miss when this was the jam that got everyone up on they're feet, also when MTV played MUSIC, LETS GET BACK TO THE GOOD LIFE. The kid dancing will always be classic.
Don't forgot mvp rock ya body, MTV played the hell out of that banging tune!
Back to the times when we weren't depressed and every song wasn't depressing as hell
The songs these days are so depressing
😶😶☹
Literally what? Millions of the people I’m the USA were very depressed at this time.. I hate how people try to pretend the early 2000s were some great times just because it holds nogistia to them

The guy taking the mic from sean paul is still funny asf all these years later
As a kid I laughed at the old man complaining, as an adult I agree with him. Have your fun, but respect his house and his rules.
In 2018 this music still great 💓

Such better, happier times. Imagine being 21 with the Rona. Tragic
Mike Lala I use to do some extra work and was at my agency when the casting call came out for this; my agent was reading it off to me and I was getting so excited to audition for it as I loved Sean Paul as an artist; but then at the bottom it basically said no white people 😑
El cumbion que le hicieron a esta canción 🔥🔥
Sean Paul songs never gets old
