- Had an absolutely amazing day at Key Biscayne Virginia Beach fishing pier. Got to see over 100 Tarpon schooling all by the bridge while I caught mangrove snappers and was fortunate to get a KEEPER sized snapper!

That's crazy either i was using the wrong bait or your using magic. I was there Sunday the 5th and Wednesday the 8th nearly all day. Caught nothing but pinfish and baby snapper. ARMYS of tarpon were just chilling hiding directly under the bridges snatching every fish i caught .

I have been there twice by now, have any tips about the parking? And what baits and hook sizes are you using? And how long do the Mangrove Snappers have to be to be a keeper?
parking never seems to be a problem 😅 because I never go on the weekends. During the week the parking is literally empty. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment it really helps 🙌👊 tight lines

@@miahu8530 almost forgot... bait , I like to use a mix of chum frozen baits like ballyhoo and live or dead shrimp. mangroves need to be 12 in Biscayne Park Areas

i hooked on one of them tarpons flat lined with half a pilchard used the head side broke my line instantly hand lined it pretty good place overall

Heading to sunny isles beach area march 4th.....anyone with any advice would be appreciated.....I guide walleye and smallmouth fishing trips in Northeast MN....so no rookie when it comes to fishing....but have never fished the ocean before....not paying 800$ to 1000$ for a chartered fishing trip lol.....that's crazy I charge 250$ for 4 hrs......400$ for the day.....

check this pier out. Thank so much for watching! Bait I would recommend is live shrimp, ballyhoo chunks, pilchards, and a block of chum. Tight lines and thanks for dropping a comment it really helps out the channel!!👍🎣 Almost forgot whole small squid works great for mutton snapper

live shrimp really fires them up but dead shrimp works too 👍
